JUST DESERTS FOR OBAMA: Why AZ’s Gov Had Every Right to Scold the Prez

By now, everyone who pays even peripheral attention to current events has seen the photo (shown) that so clearly captures the tension between the personalities of President Barack Obama and Arizona Governor Jan Brewer.

Since it became public, much of the debate surrounding it centers on whether or not Brewer’s pointing at and, apparently, scolding Obama was a sign of disrespect towards the Office of the White House.

But, in her latest editorial on her organization’s website (see the link below), Phyllis Schlafly, the National Chairman of the Republican National Coalition for Life and founder of the pro-family Eagle Forum, would like to remind us all that the United States doesn’t have a king.

And, even if it did, this king deserves whatever lashing he got from Brewer, considering how he has not only turned his back on a state full of U.S. citizens, but his administration, behind its own Sheriff of Nottingham in Attorney General Eric Holder, is actively working against those citizens in their efforts to protect themselves...

It is impossible for We the People to respect someone who has no respect for their own position in public office.

Mr. Obama has shown time and time again he despises, loathes, mocks, and abuses the United States. He is a foreign agent hell-bent on destroying the office of the presidency.

Do not take my word for it. Just ask any other nation, aside from Kenya and Saudi Arabia, what they think of our ignorant, arrogant pseudo-leader pissant.

The President of the U.S. has an obligation to respect and deal with governors of the sovereign states in a dignified and polite way. His verbal assault on Gov. Brewer violated every known protocol. It was rude, uncalled-for and — if he was a Republican — would be grist for the feminist propaganda mills. Instead, his outrageous behavior is ignored or even applauded by the media and pundits. He deserved a 10-middle-finger salute.

Office of the White House?

Sometimes I think we have more nincompoops writing about politics than we have knaves and scoundrels in politics itself.

“No title of nobility shall be granted by the United States: and no person holding any office of profit or trust under them, shall, without the consent of the Congress, accept of any present, emolument, office, or title, of any kind whatever, from any king, prince, or foreign state.”

No president should EVER expect deference from ANY citizen. And he should not bow to asian monarchs, follow British royal protocol, etc,,,
He should never give anything more than honesty, and a handshake. The leader of a republic should always be deferred to by ANY royal.
A president is a citizen or a free republic. Not a king, not a master, not in any way a “better”. This modern cult of the presidency was never intended by by our founders.
No citizen should have the slightest hesitation to tell a president when he is wrong. Joe the plumber was the epitome of this. None of this “respect the office” crap unless you are in the military. For everyone else, the respect demanded is 100% a two-way street. If anything,, the president should defer to the citizen. this is especially true when the citizen like Brewer is speaking for a large number of people.

"I am sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and you disagree with this administration somehow you're not patriotic. We should stand up and say we are Americans and we have a right to debate and disagree with any administration."

It had to be said.

This episode has so much to recommend it, where to begin...

Here we have an aggressor, a male, towering over a relatively senior female, obviously in her face in an attempt at intimidation.

She represents a State of the United States, he the oppressive Federal Government. Symbolic in the extreme.

The finger denotes the anger, and the fact that it’s pointed UP, an indication that the anger has eradicated her sense of caution.

He walks away while she’s speaking to him, acknowledging defeat.

The left should attempt to get this out of the news, because it’s a loser for Obama. It exposes his biggest weakness-his weakness.......in the face of opposition.

The Catholic Church should take notice, and be emboldened.
