This was all a-okay when Dubya, Nixon and Reagan were in office, though.

I don't see the problem...they were just applying the "Alinsky" rule of ridicule.
But, I guess it has to be a crucifix in jar of urine to qualify as "free speech".

Interesting. Slidell is just down the road from me. I would’ve thought that most of those folks down there would be Dems. Well, maybe they are and that is the reason for the brou-ha-ha.

Good grief. Sometime in January last year, Andy Warhol’s screenprint portrait of Mao Zedong, with two bullet holes put there by “Easy Rider” star Dennis Hopper sold for $302,500 at Christie’s. Heaven only knows how much one of the Marilyn Monroe’s with the bullet hole in her forehead goes for these days.

In the USAF, in 1971, a Captain had a button on his car visor that read, “Where’s Oswald now that we really need him?”.

They hung GWB and Sarah Palin in effigy. But that was “protected speech.”

And all I had been hearing is that there is no limit on what is considered art. Hmmm. I must have been mistaken.

I am going to take a contrarian position with this matter.
With respect to the office of the President of the U.S.A., I do not think this is appropriate to be displayed in a school.

Let us not forget that upon the passage of Obamacare, Nancy Pelosi declared that artists would now be “free to create their art without the burden of worrying about their health care.”. Chickens/roost.
