The author is beyond hope if she really believes any cancer group truly wants to eliminate whatever cancer they are fighting. They are fundraisers. If there’s a cure for cancer what does that do to a ton of people and companies, economically?

I said something similar; along the lines that if a cure for cancer was ever found it would likely be suppressed. A cure would eliminate millions of dollars for all those involved in treating/fighting cancer. My mother said I was too cynical. Perhaps so.
