Rep. West: Democratic handouts an 'insidious form of slavery'
The Hill ^ | 02/15/12 | Pete Kasperowicz

Freshman Rep. Allen West (R-Fla.) on Wednesday evening praised the Republican Party for consistently fighting for individual freedom over the last 150 years, and criticized Democrats for pursuing "handouts" to the less fortunate that he said are a modern form of slavery.

"Our party firmly believes in the safety net," West said in a late Wednesday floor speech. "We reject the idea of the safety net becoming a hammock.

"For this reason, the Republican value of minimizing government dependence is particularly beneficial to the poorest among us," he continued. "Conversely, the Democratic appetite for ever-increasing redistributionary handouts is in fact the most insidious form of slavery remaining in the world today, and it does not promote economic freedom."

Having the gov’t “representatives” borrowing money in my and my offsprings’ names is also a form of future tax slavery.

It’s even worse than West suggests. The debt necessary to prop up the welfare state creates a situation of indentured servitude for future generations - just another term for slavery. When you divide what some think is $150 trillion in unfunded liabilities by 150 million workers you get $1 million dollars owed by each potential worker.
Something has to give, we are already in an unconventional civil war over debt slavery (OWS is just a symptom). I wrote a whole book on this called “Surviving Civil War II” which outlines how a modern civil war is fought in the Internet age. Conservatives are the ones trying to stop such a war, it is community organizer Obama and his Marxist buddies who have been agitating for this since Wilson. http://www.futurnamics.com/civilwar.php

West better be careful...

The Democrat Plantation Masters don’t like the plantation slave rhetoric, it reminds the Democrat voters that they actually ARE slaves on the plantation, and that cannot be allowed.

Enslave the Future to gain power in Present based upon lies about the past....

The Democrat Mantra.

I saw him deliver that speech last night on c-span - great, no magnificent stuff - he’s magnificent in my book! Finally someone who is willing to educate blacks in their real history. Also, I believe the book is called “American History In Black And White” where it explains the Republicans part in black history.

You can fight people, round them up and imprison them or you can have them become dependent on handouts.

Soon they will forget how do survive on their own, no longer to take care of themselves and their families, forget who they are and what is worth fighting for.

You can utterly destroy a people with "kindness".

I am still trying to find the video of Allen West’s speech yesterday on the Republicans role in Black history. It was absolutely great and I want to share it with friends. Hopefully someone here can direct me. It is not (or at least I couln’t find it) on c-span today.
