It is a terrible thing for those of us in Texas who want to have a voice in selecting the nominee. In 2008, McCain had the nomination sewed up by the time we got to vote.

On the plus side, no one is running any political TV ads here yet. Even the local races are quiet until we get close to a confirmed primary date.
