A great couponing day yesterday. I got about $700 worth of FREE stuff but what really demonstrated my expertise was that my wife called me up while I was on the road and asked me to specifically get packing tape, eggs, and butter. So I used my on-the-spot couponing skills to also get exactly those items for FREE. That is the mark of a really good couponer. Not only to get free stuff but to adapt to any situation in order to get specific items. It also happened to me last year when she told me she would have to get a medication at a hospital pharmacy that would cost $42. I told her to hold off and in LESS than a half an hour I got the same item for only 65 cents via coupons. Not totally free but I saved $41.

Adversity doesn’t build character, it reveals it. Not that they behave all that differently any other day.

Democrats do not employ this rhetoric. Liberals do not employ this rhetoric. Progressives do not employ this rhetoric. Decent people of any stripe do not employ this rhetoric.

Isn’t there a requirement for there to be something left before it can melt? Pretty sure they’ve already done a total brain drain there.

You're not contributing to this country.

My 1040 says otherwise. Dirtbag, I'm the one paying for your unemployment checks so you can pick your nose in the park with the other Occupiers.

Everything that they want is objectively bad for the country

I want a balanced budget and a debt-to-GDP ratio that's closer to 40% than it is to 100%. Now, DUmmie, tell me objectively how this would be bad for my country.

Well, you will have to admit his reasoning is sound.

Of course, there was no reasoning involved, just a ridiculously long list of adjectives. That person is truly deranged.

“Republicans, you vile, repulsive, scum. You’re not leading this country.”

True. You dems still control the Executive branch and half the legislative branch. Yes, that means you are accountable for the current state of this country.

And you are not welcome in this country anymore.

How do you plan to get rid of me? I'd like to see you try.

On second thought, maybe all us Republicans SHOULD leave--and we'll take our tax dollars and our businesses with us. Who will you sponge off then? Have fun, DUmmies!

I must learn not to doubt you.

I was thinking you may have made a mistake since William Rivers Pitt could be a decendant of William Pitt the Elder through the daughters and someone may have married a different Pitt somewhere down the line. But the quote says there were many William Pitts in between, so I think William Rivers Pitt is indeed spouting B.S. Wouldn’t be the first time. Anyway, great find on DU.

Speaking of DUFU LAffs, did you see troube's tagline?

Live by the certainty that nothing can kill you. You'll only be wrong once.

I don't often recommend this, but I suggest going to the source to check out this entire thread. It's rant within rant within more rants. It's like what happens when you nest a whole bunch of loops when coding software.

I strongly object to the slanderous rhetoric of Kommie Troubadour. I swear I have not stolen any children’s candy for at least a month. Well.... maybe a gummi bear or two...or three. Oh, all right....so I stole the whole d...box!!! Please, KommieTroubadour...have pity on me....I couldn’t help myself...it’s society’s fault anyway.
