(Vanity) Rush Limbaugh & EIB-Proxy Mark Stein : Why savagely pro-Santorum and anti-Newt Gingrich ?

.

Let's start with this news quote posted at Free Republic today (Thursday, 2012-03-01) coming from the Rick Santorum Campaign:

Top adviser John Brabender says Santorum's future may depend upon Gingrich leaving the race.

First, I'm a Newt Gingrich guy (Rush) ...

Second ... "if" I was a Rick Santorum, that (above) remark by a key Santorum strategist would scare the "daylights" out of me ...

Why ?

It is "clearly" delusional thinking ...

That's a "very bad" way to run a campaign ... very bad, indeed ...

"If" Rick Santorum goes to sleep every night ... with his final prayer being ... "Please convince Newt to drop-Out" ...

Rick Santorum is "clearly" delusional ...

BUT will Rush Limbaugh have the COURAGE to call Santorum on this ?

Newt Gingrich has many detractors ... but almost "all" of them KNOW that Newt's going to FIGHT LIKE HELL all the way to the Tampa GOP Convention ...

Newt will fight ... like Patton crossing Germany in the Fall of 1944 ...

If Nancy Pelosi KNOWS it ... so should "Little Ricky Santorum" ...

I guess Thursday's question is:

Will Rush Limbaugh discuss this point today ?

A couple of days ago Rush Limbaugh spent a long monologue (sp) stressing that "Rush lives in Realityville" ...

What would Rush Limbaugh say about a key Santorum Campaign Staffer (publicly) hoping that Newt Gingrich drops-out of the race ?

What "should" Rush Limbaugh say ?

Rush should kick Rick Santorum's XXXXX publicly ... with EXTREME PREJUDICE ... for that absolutely stupid remark ...

Period.

"What will we hear next from Santorum's Campaign ?" Rush would (should) ask ...

A) That Barrack Obama should admit that he's "really" a Moslem ?

B) That Barrack Obama should admit that U.S. unemployment is "really" 15-17 percent ?

C) That Barrack Obama should admit that he's "really" NOT a genuine U.S. citizen ?

D) That Barrack Obama should admit that he's "really" a freakin' racist ?

We've all heard Rush Limbaugh ... and that Rush-Alter-Ego (formerly respected) IDIOT ... Mark Stein ...

"SAVAGELY" attack Newt Gingrich ...

And we all know ... for a FACT that Rush Limbaugh would FIRE Mark Stein in a "New York Minute" if Rush felt that Mark Stein had crossed the magic line ...

The FACT is that Rush Limbaugh knowing invited (and re-invited several times) Mark Stein to the Golden EIB microphone ...

with the SINGULAR INTENT of Character Assassination against Newt Gingrich.

Did Mark Stein "savagely" attack anyone else ?

Nope.

And that's why ... after enjoying listening to Rush Limbaugh for ten-plus years ... I'm gradually weaning myself from his "agenda" and "show" ...

So where will Rush Limbaugh be today ?

Carrying MORE WATER for "Little Ricky Santorum" ?

"Explaining Away" what "Little Ricky Santorum" REALLY was trying to say ?

Give me a break ...

Anyway ... the Santorum Campaign really needs to stop making these "stupid" mistakes ... they are killing him ... politically ...

And Rush Limbaugh AND Mark Stein should just admit that's they're in the tank ... and in political bed with ... Ricky Santorum ... and the rest of the GOP E-RINO elite ...

My folks are Christians who have been married over 60 years. They don’t like Newt. I believe it is his marital history more than anything. They see it as a character issue.

Democrats are never worse than when they say about epic bad actors like Lyndon Johnson and Bill Clinton that (quoting Molly Ivins on LBJ) "he was a miserable human being, but he was soooo good on the issues!"

Notwithstanding that the "deathbed divorce papers" story was a straight-out lie, a political roorback told around by odious little 'Rat calumniators (but I repeat myself), Newt's personal life has been a train wreck of his own devising, showing that he has all the self-control and social grace of a bull elephant in mating season. That is not a positive, and women all over the country despise him for it.

That, and his out-of-office mewling and sucking up to major political black holes like Nancy Pelosi and the Greens, is good enough reason to prefer another candidate for the highest office in the People's gift.

We need Newt as a polemicists and as a fashioner of issues, to critique the self-congratulatory and self-promoting narrative of the New Mandarinate in Washington and New York. But as President ..... ? He was not overall a success as Speaker, his record there was very checkered and he was vulnerable to influence by Bill Clinton. No, I wouldn't want Newt in the Oval Office, where I think he would be a net liability. I'm afraid the Democrats know how to play him, and that they would play him in the Presidency the way they did in the Speakership.

Good post. I did inform them that the deathbed nonsense wasn’t true, but they just don’t have a good opinion of him as a person.

I think Newt is happy with Calista, so he probably has changed his ways regarding the womanizing.

It is hard to argue with most of what Newt says right now. But words before an election are always suspect. So, people look at the past. None of these guys are squeaky clean policy wise, so people go to the next level. Character.

But, there are a lot of people out there just like my folks and that is what Newt is dealing with now.

My dad is in his 80’s, he tells me that just being smart isn’t enough. You also have to be wise.

I don’t know, I suppose it will work it’s way out soon.

Super Tuesday will probably give us a better idea of what is coming.

Seeing as how Santorum tied Romney in Michigan (Rick won big with votes on election day, it was early votes that put Romney ahead) and Newt didn’t even put up a good show, maybe it is time for Newt and his long train of baggage cars to hit the roundhouse.

A Romney-Gingrich race?

As long as we don’t count half the states I guess.

Rush is straddling a multi-dimensional fence - not wanting to endorse any particular candidate. He has to dance pretty fast to maintain this position, but he is showing that his priority is in maintaining a large radio audience by being non-committal.

Okay, so by your standard I am obviously trying to maintain my large radio audience by continuing to advocate for Santorum in the moment, but not endorsing anyone officially at this time.  Interesting...  I still criticize Newt and Rick.  Romney is a given...  Sometimes what folks think is obvious, really isn't.  Rush has every right to be non-commital right now.  It does not mean that he has sold out.

Newt has created a lot of enemies in Washington and in the establishment media. And that is coming back to him now. He has the ability to overcome it, if he can get his message out. When you really think about how things are in Washington with a group of go-along-to-get-along types, what would be wrong with selecting someone who didn’t need to be everyone’s friend?

The problem with that theory, is that you can't get anthing done without some political friends.   In 1999, Newt couldn't even get his fellow Republicans to agree to re-elect him to be the Speaker of the House.

I don't care who you are, you can't poke your thumb in other people's eyes, and achive all that you want or need to.

I voted for Newt in FL, I expect him to win GA and maybe several other Super Tuesday states, and I hope that he has enough delegates at the convention to be able to make his case there. I see this as analogous to the 1976 convention where Gerald Ford managed to block Reagan, the result of which did great damage to the country for the ensuing Presidential term. Newt will make his stand and the GOP will have to make its decision.

Someone is going into the convention with enough votes to get the nomination.  I don't want that person to be Romney.  If Newt or Santorum go through Super Tuesday without catching fire, I would ask the person with the fewest delegates to please exit stage right.  If one comes out with the big mo after the day, I might alter that, but we do need to get serious about beating Romney.

I currently favor Santorum, but if he doesn't exit next Tueday favorably, he needs to get out.

I would ask Newt supporters to adopt the same type of policy.

We have differing opinons of who the best man is.  At some point, we need to swollow our pride and champion the man that at least has a possibility of beating Romney.

Santorum beat Newt at least threefold, by doing an ad praising Democrat colleagues he wrote laws with, Barbara Boxer for environmental legislation, Hillary for censorship, Lieberman, etc., as shown below. Not to mention Newt spoke against cap-and-trade against Al Gore’s testimony, as seen on YouTube, and wrote the book Drill Here, Drill Now, Pay Less in 2008 which immediately found its way into the Republican platform to this day.

I’m convinced that Newt’s very public campaigning against Bush, Sr.’s tax hikes is one of the biggest driving forces of the campaign against him within the Republican party. I think Byron York mentioned at one point that no one in the public has any idea how big a grudge the party elders are still holding over that. Going against your President in that big a way when you’re in a powerful leadership role in the party was certainly a big no-no.

I think that wing of the party was on the outs for a while after Clinton’s win and Newt’s takeover in Congress, but the establishment has spent the last 10 years reestablishing their power over the country in force. Newt would once again unravel all the cozy arrangements they’ve put together if he became the new party leader.

I was listening to Glenn Beck praise Breitbart ( a great loss and God bless him ), but he also said that he and Breitbart had some major differences.

Does anyone know what those differences were? Would it have anything to do with Glenn’s pox on all parties attitude ?

Santorum has consistently voted in favor of family busting social programs and largess for many other idle bureaucrats. His voting record shows that he’s a follower of Hillary Clinton and her fans.

Barry@Kabul, er Patton@Bastogne:

This drivel from a FreeRepublic dinosaur? Aren’t you special.

It really pains me to witness the forum degrade from a genuine marketplace for conservative ideas to this crap. If this is what you pass off for intelligent discussion, go join Myth Romney’s or RuPaul’s campaign; we’re being bombarded by similar rhetoric in Ohio by their PACs against Santorum.

Both Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum are good candidates. By every conservative measure of voting record/campaign positions, both are worthy of our support. Rick and Newt have made their share of mistakes too.

Yet, I would vote “for” either one as POTUS, as opposed to hold my nose and vote someone else “against” 0bama. Yes, I lean toward Santorum because Gingrich chose to attack Bain Capitol instead of Myth’s solid as muck positions. Could have been a tougher choice between the two without that Bain bash faux paux.

Frankly, the last “perfect” candidate to walk this planet was rejected by voters and crucified. So as I told Perry supporters: stick to what’s good about your candidate, don’t tell me what’s bad about the other candidates.

This drivel from a FreeRepublic dinosaur? Aren’t you special.

Actually, I "am" special ... not only at Free Republic ...

but also as a Dinosaur "Movement Conservative" ...

who was awarded the "Conservative Website of the Day" with my "Impeachment Watch" website during Clinton's impeachment ...

You've never had the chance to converse with such Free Republic legends such as "AlamoGirl", "Buckhead" or "JohnHuangTwo" ... and others whose names I can't recall at this moment ...

And this Free Republic "Dinosaur" raced to join the ranks of Patriots when I and my four (4) children drove down to Florida's Broward County to protest the Democrats' efforts to steal the 2000 election for Al Gore ...

===============================

But this post isn't about me ... and neither was my (original) post a slam-dunk against Rick Santorum ...

My post focused on Rush Limbaugh and Mark Steyn's clear bias against Newt Gingrich ... especially during the infamous "Bloody Thursday" episode just before the Florida Primary ...

===============================

FACT : Rush Limbaugh and Mark Steyn HELPED MITT ROMNEY WIN FLORIDA

Rush and Steyn actively "helped" a damned New England LIBERAL (Romney) ....

who's "consultant buddies" helped write ObamaCare ...

win the GOP 2012 Florida Primary ...

That STINKS all the way to Rio Linda, Rush ...

===============================

My post ... was designed for Rush Limbaugh, Mark Steyn ... and maybe Bo Snerdly to read and reflect upon ...

Hey ... it's their radio programs ... and I don't contest what they do "on air" ... any more than I do Don Imus or Chris Matthews ...

But it's HIGH TIME that Rush Limbaugh ... and his "paid proxy" Mark Steyn were CALLED-OUT for their attack against Newt Gingrich ...

while they've basically left "Little Ricky" (sorry, but that's the way he comes across) ...

or "Willard" Mitt Romney (the Mormon Rat that he is) ...

completely alone in their criticisms .... while (at times) kicking Newt's XXXX across the floor ...

I'm just sick and tired of Rush's "no endorsement policy" when his PAID-PROXY Mark Steyn has unfairly beat the hell out of Newt ...

"That" was the point of my original post today ...

Meanwhile ... both of these "radio clowns" .... HAVE NEVER RUN or BEEN ELECTED TO PUBLIC OFFICE ...

and more importantly ... especially for that moron Mark Steyn ...

ever WRITTEN or PASSED a "single" piece of Legislation in their entire "radio career" lives ...

Period.

They know NOTHING of the intellectual and psychological insight skills (ie. bargaining) that it took Newt Gringrich to get "historic conservative" legislation ...

"Passed" (through BOTH the U.S. House and Senate) ...

and then "signed" by a sitting Democratic President.

In this instance, NEITHER Rush Limbaugh or Mark Steyn are qualified to be the "pencil sharpener" clerk to such proceedings ...

Yet ... they SLAM Newt (repeatedly) ...

WHY ?

Because Rush Limbaugh is repaying his "Lincoln Bedroom" debt to Bush-41 ?

Who knows ?

And as Rush Limbaugh likes to opine ...

"When you see something that you don't understand ... JUST FOLLOW THE MONEY ..."

===============================

Now ... there's the question of Newt versus Santorum ...

Either would a decent president ... compared to Obama (the half-white guy) or Romney (the all-white guy) ...

So I would support Santorum ... if required ...

And today I've posted at Free Republic ... "celebrating" Santorum's "delegate count" VICTORY over Romney in Michigan ...

Heck, I also created FreeRepublic posts encouraging Michigan's Newt Gingrich REPUBLICANS to gently put Newt aside in Michigan (for now) ...

and help Santorum WIN in Michigan.

Wonderfully, it appears that about one-half of Newt's Michigan supporters (15 %) went over to Santorum ...

But ... "Little Ricky" is in desperate need of a CURE for his "political fott-n-mouth" disease ...

The only question is whether Rick Santorum has the "courage" to ask for help ... from Newt Gingrich ...

limbaugh is, and has always been, for Romney. Anyone who doesn’t know that, doesn’t know limbaugh.

Wide and outside! Ball four.

Where there's a shell, there's a way.

25 years ago, we had Ronald Reagan, Johnny Cash, and Bob Hope.
Today we have Obama, no cash, and no hope!

If you can't appreciate the pure beauty of the violin after hearing this, something's wrong with your ears.

Or you can get raw with these strings.

How about this gamechanger from America's Got Talent (which they SHOULD have won).

And finally, this, dedicated to the one and only rdb2, whose eyes are growing dim.

Either way, the violin is sweet yet LETHAL.

Do it!

If Nancy Pelosi KNOWS it

Of course she knows it, she is his closest political ally, and he cosponsored more bills with her than anyone else.

Have you ever noticed whenever Gingrich has slipped in the polls, Pelosi comes out and says something against him, that is sure to inflame conservatives to support him? Yet, when her office is questions, she denies it? Why is she helping him out in this way?

I predict before Super Tuesday, Pelosi will once again come out and say she has dirt on Gingrich, or something like that, so it will boost his conservative creds.
