Everyone should be contacting their representatives in congress to support Rep. Mike Kelly’s bill to kill the $7,500 tax credit.

This tax credit is for all EV’s that qualify and includes the Chevy Volt and Nissan Leaf.

After 2 years of looking out for Volts on the road, I still haven’t seen one. Have you? The only honest review I read said the visibility while driving was bad and the brakes had problems. I stay in my safe gas burner, thanks.

For all the taxpayer money spent on the Dolt, they should give each of us one and then a daily stipend in something other than depreciating USDs for the severe inconvenience of having to drive one.

In their latest ad, I was struck by one of the lines they used: ‘It was a car we had to build’.

Just maybe they were trying to tell us something.

The Volt, like that ugly Prius are not driven. They are “worn” as liberal uniforms. Question, are Obama stickers put on the Prius as standard equipment in their Chinese and Japan factories. They all seem to wear one.

Those that continue to fight the battle to convince the masses that the Volt is a technological wonder are only losing credibility to the point where it is an embarrassment.

The only ones allowed to fight the battle are the airheads in the top of the tubes. As long as they're getting paid, they don't care what anybody thinks. Besides, they know better than you. GM hasn't been the same since the days DeLorean jogged through the tunnels..... and that's a long time.

GM spent millions to advertise the Volt? What a horrible waste of money. That money could have been sent to Democrat pockets and campaign funds.

Man, I’ve got a GREAT advertising slogan that might help them sell a few more:

“Be a Dolt... Buy a Volt!”

The Chevy Volt is turning out to be worse than the Edsel — till now the greatest fiasco in American automotive history.

.....the more likely reason for GE's backing of the Volt relates to their vested interest in selling chargers for the vehicles.

Or, more logically, the wish to sell these chargers to underwater home owners looking for a fire-insurance 'out' of their predicament.
