Poll: 45-52% Believe Obama Is A Muslim And GOP Elites Don't Get It

According to a recently released poll by the left-leaning Public Policy Polling, 45% of likely GOP primary voters in Alabama believe that Barack Hussein Obama is a Muslim. 41% of those polled were unsure and only 14% responded that they believe that Mr. Obama is a Christian. Similar results were obtained in Mississippi where 52% of respondents said they believe that Obama is a Muslim, while 36% claimed they were not sure and only 12% said they believe Obama is a Christian.

And if the reaction of The Washington Times' Catherine Poe is any barometer of what the elites within the GOP believe, the GOP establishment appears none too happy over the poll numbers and the fact that far too many pesky voters dare to hold opinions that are out-of-line with those dictated from on high by our tight-knit circle of rulers among the political elite.

I think the problem was that the muslim world had already mobilized to demonize them and already had Obama in position to take the office. Demonization/confusion/shake Americas foundations... and it WAS overwhelming. Globally. The muslim voice spoke.

When 9/11 occurred, I think Bush wanted to hammer Islam... but was read the riot act by them of the ramifications so he sought a different program, surround Iran, the root. Not a bad compromise.

Now, Iran enjoys the cover of their man in OUR White House and those pre thought efforts are seemingly off the table..

Now we have the exact converse, Obama using America to further Islam. Look at his MB and the north Africa Caliphate. Moamar Ghadaffi? What crap!

And yes, they are encapsulating Israel.

Once Israel goes, so does western man and in the meanwhile Obama is doing everything to screw the hub, America.

I'm just a schmuck, not an elite, but this bugs me too.

I have serious doubts that this guy is a practicing Christian. His history, educational, philosophy, etc. all suggest he's more of a "godless humanist", like a whole lot of folks on the intellectual left. I don't think he has enough humility to worship any God.

That being said, the evidence for him being a Muslim is painfully thin.

I don’t know if Bambi considers himself a Muslim lying to the infidels to seize power and convert th em all forcefully, or not. Or even just Muslim in his heart. Formally he considers himself a Christian, I suppose, although a repugnant and repulsive brand of it. A vile heresy in fact.

Yes, he is a Muslim. He was born of a Muslim father, educated as a Muslim, adopted by another Muslim father, registered in school as a Muslim, attended mosques and said the prayers, and has generally behaved like a Muslim in office.

As with the Birth Certificate, there is zero evidence that he was ever baptized. His crazy mother certainly wouldn’t have done that when he was a baby, nor would either of his Muslim fathers.

His church in Chicago was basically a Black Muslim church with a little Christian window dressing. His pastor started out as a Black Muslim.

He could, of course, leave the Muslim faith, get baptized, and become a Christian. But there is absolutely no evidence that he has ever done so. Quite the contrary.

He has said that he is a Christian, but that’s about the extent of it. Obviously, the Muslims don’t believe it, or they would have issued a Fatwah on him. He has presumably assured them otherwise.

Being a Muslim is not incompatible with being a Communist or a Nazi. The Muslim brotherhood were closely allied with Hitler during the War, and then closely allied with Stalin in later years. No one doubts that they are Muslim.

The evidence would be, that had he actually repented and become a Christian, he would then embrace Constitutional Conservatism. Since Obama has been and remains a liberal to this very, it's clear that he's not a Christian.

The truth of Christianity is simply incompatible with the falsehoods of liberalism. The good people of Mississippi and Alabama understand this. In fact, anyone applying even a modicum of logic to the facts would conclude that Obama is not a Christian.

Yeah, I think so. Card-carrying or not, he was attending Harvard when the marxist Critical Legal Studies was at its apogee. That, plus his associations with the marxist rantings of Pflegher, Wright, Ayers, etc. tell me that, at a minimum, he is heavily influenced by marxist thought.

My guess is that he views religion, of any stripe, as more of an unnecessary complication on the path to a "rational" more socialistic future than anything else.
