What is his AFSC?
God bless him and congratulations!
Yesterday, my next door neighbors 9 year old son accidentally smacked our SUV with a stick as he was swinging at a nerf ball. Nobody around. Put a good size dent in the hood. Told his Mother, came over with his Mother, apologized and insisted on paying for the damage. There are some good kids out there!
Congrats to your youngest! It’s good to know Pride,Duty,Honor still exist in this Country despite what we’ve seen from the Left/Democrats in the past 4 years....
I”m not familiar with all the acronyms but his MOS? is Information Technology (just like me!) He’s at Keesler now.
Congrats.
Very rare nowadays. I often see the product of “guilt parenting/free ranging” where the parents actually PITY their children instead of have expectations for them (see Obama); usually due to divorce, letting them get away with murder. The kids call the shots in the home. You can see it at the stores where 3 year old Junior is demanding to get his way and Mom tries to “reason” with him.
And then the “my kid right or wrong” and “my kid can DO no wrong” (part of the failed “self esteem” movement in the eighties) with an attorney or CPS on speed dial is super prevalent nowadays.
It was so inspirational to see these young military men and women all in step together and working as a team for our country!!!
AFSC = MOS. Mississippi huh? Good for him. Make sure he gets the GI Bill even if he thinks he won’t use it. He could go almost anywhere with IT. Does he have a base he wishes to go to?
Were you USMC?
Air Force Specialty Code.
I know, I was in the Air Force.
So was I.An 81150A.Also known as a Patrol Dog Handler/Security Police Specialist.

Congratulations to you and your son!
Yea!I spent my first 9 months or so at Lackland for all of the different training courses I was required to go through.I thought that was a great time.
Tomorrow is the 50th anniversary of my enlistment in the US Air Force (3/21/1962).
Congrats!
Congratulations and thank you for all you have done for our country. My son graduated Lackland years ago and is now a Master Sgt. looking at retirement in a couple of years.
