Trayvon Mania Highlights Diseased Culture of the Left

The ignorant, irrational mania being stoked by the black race hustlers in the wake of the killing of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin is disgusting. Of course the nation is sad that a boy was killed! But, we are also sickened by the malevolent, mob-inciting “leaders” of the black community like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton. Those men, and others like them in positions of “authority,” like Barack Obama (or whatever his name is), are the most despicable abusers of their prominent positions for using this case to gin up misplaced outrage among people who are not even looking rationally at what apparently happened.

Why is this story being trotted out at this time? This shooting occurred back on February 26^th, but now, suddenly in the past couple of weeks, Trayvon Martin is the poster child for the phantom “white war on blacks.” I suppose that since the Democrats’ phony Republican “war on women” went over like a lead zeppelin they had to find another “cause” to gin up outrage and vicious division between the Left and the Right, the black and the white. Way to go with your sterling gift of unity for the nation, Obama! Oh, but we knew better than that from the start.

Missing from all the misguided calls for violence and vigilante “justice” for the shooter, George Zimmerman (who is not a so-called “white,” but is Hispanic), are the actual details of that fateful night’s events. The race hustlers whipping the black community up into a senseless frenzy portray Martin as a harmless, unarmed teenager, innocently walking home through a gated community in which he did not live.

The Orlando Sentinel released details given by police of testimony from both police and eye witnesses that do not indicate that Trayvon Martin was an innocent “victim.” Rather, he reportedly attacked George Zimmerman, breaking his nose and slamming his head repeatedly into the sidewalk, after which Zimmerman shot Martin in self-defense.

“Zimmerman told [911 police dispatchers] he lost sight of Trayvon and was walking back to his SUV when Trayvon approached him from the left rear, and they exchanged words.

Trayvon asked Zimmerman if he had a problem. Zimmerman said no and reached for his cell phone, he told police. Trayvon then said, ‘Well, you do now’ or something similar and punched Zimmerman in the nose, according to the account he gave police.

Zimmerman fell to the ground and Trayvon got on top of him and began slamming his head into the sidewalk, he told police.

Several witnesses heard those cries, and there has been a dispute about whether they came from Zimmerman or Trayvon.

Lawyers for Trayvon's family say it was Trayvon, but police say their evidence indicates it was Zimmerman.

One witness, who has since talked to local television news reporters, told police he saw Zimmerman on the ground with Trayvon on top, pounding him — and was unequivocal that it was Zimmerman who was crying for help.

Zimmerman then shot Trayvon once in the chest at very close range, according to authorities.

When police arrived less than two minutes later, Zimmerman was bleeding from the nose, had a swollen lip and had bloody lacerations to the back of his head.”

You see, this is not just George Zimmerman’s story. It is corroborated by police and paramedics who responded, plus eye witnesses. Oh, but that does not matter a bit to the race-baiting degenerates who would rather see our nation burn to the ground in a bogusly-inspired race war.

The fact is that there is simply no such thing as a “white war on blacks.” The truth is nowhere to be seen in this terrible display of outrage against Zimmerman. The number-one killers of blacks are fellow blacks and other minorities not white people, but you will not hear that fact coming out of the mouths of “leaders” of the black community and black Democrat politicians.

“When it’s a white person (or in this case, an Hispanic) who attacks or shoots a black person, it’s evidence that (according to Jackson) ‘blacks are under attack.’ Even President Obama chimed in, saying this incident indicates the need for a national ‘soul-searching’ about race.

Really? So inter-racial attacks are evidence of racism? Well, let’s look at the truth, some factual data that the race hustlers, and apparently even the president, conveniently ignore. According to the U.S. Department of Justice, there are about 1.7 million inter-racial crimes annually. 1997 statistics show that of those, almost 1.3 million involved blacks and whites…and in 90% of those cases, whites were the victims and blacks were the perpetrators. Thus, using the same reasoning as Sharpton, Jackson and President Obama, the real focus of any ‘soul-searching’ about racism needs to be done by ‘the black community.’

Yet in that same year (1997), over 2,300 whites were charged with ‘hate crimes,’ while only 718 blacks were so charged. Because of population size, that means that blacks are fifty times more likely to commit violence against those of another race than white people!”

We will not hold our breath waiting for Jesse Jackson or Maxine Waters to go shouting these truths from their soapboxes.

This whole sorry ordeal and all the satellite stories that have come from it this week, just further illustrate the diseased culture of the Left. The Democrats are no one’s friend, but the people in the black community are largely blind to this fact. Since the 1960s, when the welfare state was established and the entitlement mentality was hatched in the hearts of so many Americans, the black family itself has spiraled steadily downward toward disintegration. Today, we see far too many young, black people—and “white” people, too—who are facing a bleak future, because they have chosen to become a sub-culture of America—a sub-culture that glorifies violent, incoherent “music,” anti-social behavior and despicable dress, and even its own unintelligible speech. How can many of these kids of today expect to be accepted and propelled ahead in the workforce when they insist on rejecting something so simple as proper dress and behavior?

I am quite past giving a rip what anyone thinks about what I say in this, and I know that many, many people feel the same way. We are sick of being lied about by the communist Democrats whose only agenda is to enslave the entire nation under their tyrannical dictates—and that includes those in the black community who ignorantly embrace the Left’s agenda, not realizing the harm that agenda will do to them. So when we see events like we have seen surrounding the Zimmerman-Martin case, we are no longer willing to stand meekly by with mealy mouths.

We have seen the most outrageous behavior by the Left since this awful story was thrown across America and the world—from a black Congressman showing up in a hooded sweatshirt in the House chamber on Capitol Hill, to Spike Lee “tweeting” a false address of George Zimmerman, which has left an elderly couple who live at the address in fear for their lives, having now fled their home, to the Hell-born New Black Panther party putting a more than ten-thousand-dollar bounty on the head of George Zimmerman, to high school students in the North Miami Beach area behaving like wild animals as they storm and ransack a Walgreens drug store, to numerous other examples.

We have had it with the nonsense by these black protesters who, if they even acknowledged the facts in the case, would likely still behave in such an atrocious manner. We have no sympathy for people who insist on denying truth and reason for the purpose of creating chaos, because chaos is the goal of the radical Left. And, because Barack Obama has sided with those provoking chaos, he is the most detestable player in this entire sick-headed game.

Well stated. Factual and calm, but firm. That the office of the POTUS is used to incite the country to racial animosity is just disgusting.

It is instructive that Trayvon’s death is the incident the left had to seize upon to demonstrate to blacks the victimhood police are still needed to protect them. If the killing of blacks by whites were rampant, it would seem a better example could be found.

This episode merely serves to show how little white-on-black crime there really is, how much white guilt still exists, and how desperate those who have a stake in black victimhood have become.

The dude Zimmerman turns out to be Hispanic-oops, turns out he mentors black kids-oops, and now has black friends defending him-oops.

The left will continue to try to milk this thing, but it’s one big backfire, and in the end, it will only serve to prove the opposite of what they’re trying to prove.

A lot of parallels to this and what happened with Kristallnacht in 1938.

Up to that point, for the last couple of years, since the imposition of the Nuremberg Laws in 1935, it was rather a benign period for Jews in Nazi Germany, Hitler was more concerned with building up his war machine. The rabid anti-semites were getting restless, they sensed the anti-Jewish momentum was slowing down, they needed something to ratchet it back up...and then lo and behold in Paris, Herschel Grynszpan, a Jew, who just found out his entire family was deported to Poland from Germany, shoots some flunky, Ernst vom Rath.....Goebbels and his Propaganda Ministry, never wanting to let a crisis go to waste (sound familiar?), ratcheted up the Propaganda machine, and before you know it, the pogroms against the Jews started, and they didn’t stop until the end of the war.

The races in America are intermingling, intermarrying, and merging culturally. This is apparently happening at a rate that is making entrenched powers extremely uncomfortable.

The attempt to seize advantage from Trayvon's death clearly shows that desperation is beginning to set in among those who have financial and political stakes in perpetuating the notion that we're not coming together as a people.

As Booker T Washington said a hundred years ago, “There is a certain class of race-problem solvers who do not want the patient to get well, because as long as the disease holds out they have not only an easy means of making a living, but also an easy medium through which to make themselves prominent before the public.”

The fact that they can't find a better example should put the lie to a lot of leftist myths, as relates to race relations in this country.

Larry Elder at townhall makes this point too: What happened in Sanford, Fla. -- a white* person killing a black person -- is extremely infrequent, occurring in 8 percent of black homicides. In saying "blacks are under attack," Jackson paints a picture of whites targeting and hunting down black males.

Based on statistical facts, this is an exaggerated 'man bites dog' story pushed by the MSM and their fellow race-baiters.
