Warning: Not important news to anybody but me. Today I really finally did it. I sent in my voter registration, changing my party affiliation from Democratic to Republican. I've been a DINO for several years, as the Party Leadership became increasingly hostile to pro-life Christians like me. And I have been happy to learn from my fellow Freepers for awhile, but I finally officially did the deed today. I'm "out of the closet" as a conservative. No longer merely married21. I am one.
“Live Free or Die” by the Revolutionary war hero, John Stark, has been my motto for a while now.
I also am pro-lifer who once thought she was democrat.
Enjoy the experience, stay true to your convictions.
How about, “I’m Pro-Life and I Vote?”
I also always liked, “It’s a Child, Not a Choice.”
FUBO would suffice. Short, sweet and offensive to libtards.

You might want to add an NRA bumper sticker to deter the usual car-keying leftist thugs.
Just what we need, another RINO.
I keed! I keed!
I’m indy-conservative myself, but hey, at least you’re headed in the right direction!
Good for you. Welcome to freedom.
“Recovering Democrat”
Congratulations, and try WD40 on the remains of that bumper sticker. Let it soak in and the rest of the sticker should come off easily after the WD40 penetrates and gets under the glue.
Try Goo Gone to remove glue remnants. In the case that Goo Gone won’t work, try rubbing it with plain rubbing alcohol (isopropanol or ethanol) on a cotton ball.
Great! Now you can choose between big government RINOs!
My sweet wife and I did it a few weeks ago too - she from Dem to Repub, I from Independent to Repub.
We have good friends from church that are very liberal in politics, and conservative with church stuff. (???) But the other Sunday, just before the service started, the gal told my wife that she was thinking about changing parties.
My wife gasped and made some joke about hell freezing over. They both started laughing so hard I thought they were going to have to delay the start of the service!
Congratulations! Now the hard part begins. You cannot decide issues based on your emotions, you must continue to think about them. It is much easier being on the left, but you are making the right choice.
I have no suggestions for a replacement bumper sticker, but if you still have remnants of the old sticker, use a blow dryer. Put the setting on high heat and blow toward the sticker. This causes the glue to heat and soften and make it easier to remove.
Congrats on leaving the RATS. Commiseration at becoming a pubbie.
Thanks for the advice about removing the old bumper sticker. Freepers are a great resource for how to get something done.
Thanks for the bumper sticker suggestions. Any one of them should work, except for FUBO, which, despite its merits, would lead to an awkward discussion with my young children.
Thanks also for the moral support.
God bless.
Goo Gone will also take care of that bumpersticker. You can also warm the glue gently with a hair dryer and peel it off (carefully). Don’t try that in the dead of winter (you might crack something).
