It’s because the Left WANTS Romney to be the nominee because Conservatives will stay home in large enough numbers for Obama to win. So the big money leftist groups are pouring money into his campaign. Look at most of the big states RomneyCare has won: Ohio, Florida, Michigan - even in Iowa - he’s had to come from FAR behind in every one of them to overtake either Gingrich or Santorum. Or both. And the only reason he won any of them was a series of attack ads against his opponents rather than ads advocating why he’s the guy for the job. The leftists understand this, and they are largely running this campaign strategy of attack - after all, it’s all the left knows how to do. But that’s why he’s getting money from the big lefty groups. Suspect we’ll discover more of them funneling $$$ to him in the coming weeks.

A lot of big money Republicans are licking their chops at the prospect of a cap and trade scheme run by Wall Street. The profit potential of a mandatory policy is enormous and will generate income for big money investors at every stage, no matter the damage it does to an economy already on life support.

I'm a registered Pennsylvania Republican and I'm voting for Rick Santorum on the 24th.
