Houston's City Hall Proudly Displays the Mexican Flag in the Legal Dept

Imagine my surprise when I stepped off the elevator and looked through a glass partition on my right to see a Mexican Flag displayed on a cubicle. I was visiting the legal Dept. to try to get clarity on exactly where petitioners may operate in "public forums". Have we been captured? What does this signify for our petition efforts?

Houston....we have a problem.

Perhaps you could force the issue by tearing the damn thing down and daring them to do something about it.

It came from Pancho’s Buffet. He wants a refill on his iced tea.

a Mexican Flag displayed on a cubicle

So some cubicle drone had a (small?) Mexican flag in his/her workspace? Is that what it amounts to? Or was it an 'official' display, large and prominent next to or in place of the US flag?

There was no American flag displayed but visually it was the first thing to catch the eye off the elevator. A bit odd to place such symbolism in an official public spot,in the LEGAL DEPT, don’t you think?

The title claims “city hall proudly displays” (proudly?) while the text says it was in or on a cubicle. Got a pic?

I’d agree that it would be improper for some city employee to prominently display the Mexican flag in the workplace. Take it up with his/her supervisor. But it’s not the same as what the title implies, if that’s all it was (i.e. not an official display). Try not to hyperventilate.
