Maybe things are worse with Bella than has been publicly announced, and they want to spend what time she has with her? Or could be that he was trailing badly in the GOP primary in his own state, which wouldn’t be good for any kind of future in politics.

wouldn’t it be wonderful if he tossed all his delegates to Gingrich?

Speaking of... what happens to them?

I am still hoping for Gingrich/Cain

Santorum must have accepted the VP slot for Romney...

What a convoluted, corrupt mess this Primary process is...

So he drops out now, after he’s screwed Newt’s chances of beating Romney. What a jerk.

It’s probably has less to do with his daughter being sick than that if Rick loses PA, his home state to Romney then his future political career is over....he’s hedging his bets

All the conservatives just bowing down to ROMNEY now.

I know. But I won't be supporting that liberal.

Umm. There's another conservative candidate still in the field. If Santorum joins the Dream Team it could turn the tide.

He has a sickly child, he needs to take care of that baby.....If Romney picks him for something then I’m glad but right now I would think his family is first....

Rickie must be delusional if he thinks he has a political future. He might have to wait 8 years for another run at POTUS. Even if Willard loses this November there will be a lot of GOP talent in the 2016 race, I am thinking of Jindhal, Christie, Rubio, Walker in WI, etc. The only reason Rick did so well was a sign of how bad Willard is and the lack of any legitimate alternative.
