It never ceases to amaze me how completely clueless liberals are that their might be opposition to their frivolous spending.
In Jackson Michigan the liberals want 6 figures to repave a bike path and are shocked at the fact that sensible people are saying we can’t afford it.
My suggestion was that if they really need pavement they should take up a collection. Their response was that people who don’t pay will use it. They quit responding to me when I pointed out that I won’t use it but they are trying to force me to pay for it against my will.
Why not lay heavy taxes on film tickets?
Then the same medicine that is so bitter for us will taste as bad for them, too!

Thanks for your comment Smarty. That is exactly what people do, pay to be literally indoctrinated and insulting.
I believe that unfortunately, people would keep paying for the movies regardless of the tax because that is now where most Americans draw their very meaning of existence (as Fyodor Dostoyevsky predicted would happen with “arts” and entertainment).
So the liberals wouldn’t be getting a taste of their medicine because it would just be passed on.
Although I’m being sarcastic, since Obama and the left like to single people out with their polarizing legislation - the idea is to take 70% of their PERSONAL ASSETS.
This wouldn’t happen but it would be great to see some southern red states launch class action suits against Hollywood lefties on similar grounds to the tobacco suits.

A google search with quote “who has received waivers from obamacare” came up with many columns... however, this is the first and only one I read.
becasue at that point, you would be hurting the business man, or corporation that owns an independent theater, or a big mega movieplex franchise.
If you wanted to be serious about it, you would implement the tax someplace during pre-distribution; maybe making them pay a licensing fee in order to get the film to the theaters.
The cost would still be passed on to the business owner and movie goer; except the finger could rightly be pointed at the Hollywood types, because they are "unfairly" passing on the extra cost of doing business, like the libs accuse so many other evil businesses of.
But without quite the same intensity that they hate God and everything he has made and does.
