“Is that the one where a biochemist’s wife and daughter are killed by Irish Terrorists in London, and he sets out to kill all THEIR women and it gets away from him?”

Yes, it is. But does it really get away from him, or is he pleased with the results?

Hubby gave me this book as it was always his fave. I wasn’t too thrilled with it, but I’d say the author gives a good portrayal of b*tchy Irish gals (I am one!).

I remember a book “No Blade of Grass” that was about some world-wide contagion. It might have had some men/women angle to it, but I really don’t remember the story at all anymore. I do remember I enjoyed reading it.

I saw the movie back in 1971. About a fungus that destroys grass and vegetation. Humans retreat into enclaves and fight each other to survive. Them men don’t all get killed.

That was a virus that killed all the grasses in the world. Unfortunately, rice, wheat, oats, etc., are grasses. No male/female stuff.
