All the Liberals in my acquaintance are apt to get spitting mad as soon as Sarah's name comes up. They hate her, hate her, hate her. That's fear.

Exactly - she is a shining light of truth that terrifies them. Fear is the base emotion of anger and anger breeds hate.

Glad to see you posting, my friend.

She is popular with some conservatives, and especially popular on FR, but she would never win in a general election. And the liberals are not afraid of her.

You may be right that she is too polarizing to win the general election.

You are dead wrong about the liberals (especially the liberal elites) not being afraid of her. She is VERY popular among the TEA Party conservatives, and a uniting force behind the TEA Party movement. Do not underestimate what could be done by a behind-the-scenes organizer/motivator/unifier for the TEA Party.

I agree...vote out the asshole and elect as many Tea Party people as possible and let Sarah announce on January 21 that as far as these gutless politicians “the Tea Party is coming and hell’s coming with her...”

No one who’s read her first book can be against he running for President.

She did more for Alaska than anybody except Reagan has done for America.

McCain would have lost in a landslide in 2008 without her.

Not much has changed.

I’m praying starting Nov.7th 2012 Sarah Palin starts coalescing the different factions of the Tea Party and all thinking Americans into a powerhouse political party to finally get this country headed in the right direction once again.:)

Worse...

IMHO she is doing it now by endorsing the most conservative Senatorial Candidates she can find.

The EGOP is reaching for the Depends IMHO because at somepoint the Tea Party types in the House and Senate will have reinforcements, Col West, help is on the way ditto that Sen. Paul. They will have enough numbers that they will have to deal with them, not tell them to shut up and go along with us...

The question begs, do they have enough momentum or does she force the issue that Boehner and McConnell have to go...

If so Romney will regret the day that he started sabotaging her because he is gonna have to deal with people more conservative than he, Checkmate Sadie...

You are correct.
She is a Kingmaker. Although I would love for her to be POTUS, the job she is doing is amazing.

the left despises the stereotypical 1950’s America. G-d, family, and country.

Sarah embodies it. she embodies everything they will never have. and they hate her for it

further, they know for a fact she can pull the whole base to support her, unlike mitt... which is the reason the left promoted him. she’d pull the whole base and a very large chunk of the independents.

they fear that... and they attack that which they fear the most (it use to be Romney... until they learned the effect of ‘mormonism’ on the far right)

Has it ever occurred to you that Sarah does not truly run for the vice presidency for the second time and have to subordinate herself to Romney? Furthermore, she may feel she has to devote more time to bringing up a handicapped child. The way the media and Democrats demonized her the first hasn’t yet subsided as you as you indirectly noted. If Romney were to lose, Sarah would take the most blame and her conservative principles because she is now deemed to be one of the leading spokesperson for conservative causes. No, Sarah has many valid reasons not to run for a position that one who had held that office as being is meaningingful as a bucket of warm spit.

im sick of this, “she’s too polarizing’...how? what views does she hold to that the greater majority of conservative americans would object to?

this polarizing crap sounds like just a meme that the media created and other seem to puke up anytime her name is mentioned....

"And if Romney doesn’t use her he’s a bigger fool than I thought"

I don't think Sarah would allow herself to be used by Romney. At least I hope not; IMO she's better off not associating herself with him. And since Romney holds right wing evangelicals in contempt, I doubt he would want anything to do with Sarah. He's using some evangelicals now to get conservative cred (such as the ones in my home town of Lynchburg yesterday). But I believe Sarah's too smart for that.

Please Mitt

Mitt pleases only Mitt.

The first chance he gets he'll turn so far left he'll be coming back around again.

You’re delusional. She is popular with some conservatives,<<

Evidently not with you huh?...and as for “delusional”...You might want to look up “psycho-semantic projection”..me thinks u have a good case of it if you don't think the liberals aren't SCARED TO DEATH of her...

“I’m in CA and these 2 lib Senators have ruined this state. Is there a chance to unseat them? Don’t know. But Sarah Palin and the Tea Party have given me a small glimmer of hope.”

Facts:

1. Carly Fiorina supported Palin when nominated by McCain for VP, 2008.

2. Palin endorsed Fiorina, when she ran for GOP Senator in 2010.

3. Fiorina was trashed on this site, because as head of a for-profit company, she layed off some employees, among her other sins.

That demonstrated how ineffective the right can be, politically. Shout their love for Palin one minute, then disrespect/disregard her advice to support Fiorina.

So for the general, you still see Fiorina’s GOP primary opponents, on this site, shouting “no Fiorina, no way” much as they do now with Romney.

Considering that Fiorina’s and Romney’s opponents were/are Barbara Boxer and Barack Obama, makes you think........wtf is going on?

Sarah is a much smarter political figure, than some of her supporters. For instance, she knows to support the conservative that can win, in the primary, and to support the nominee in the general.
