Well, it’s his fault, but also the fault of the idiots that voted for him in the primaries.

Romney was never after the conservative voters, but was out to crush conservative candidates, all who had more love for country than money to run on. He made deals on issues and strategy with the GOP leaders, funded their campaigns, even some newbies, far in advance of even announcing his own run, buying their silence then, and their support now, all in place in time to repel and reject any other candidates.

He is now playing the issues for the Independents only, and believes any time spent on character issues and the communist associations let’s Obama off the hook on the economy, which is supposedly Romney’s strong suit and Obama’s weakest, so that is the only pony Romney wants to ride, until he falls behind and is forced then to go negative.

Republicans don’t want to lead. They want to oppose and get richly compensated for it. Newt would have made them go to work like he always did and they hated him for it, and he would have kicked Obama to the curb, which horrified the GOP (Grand Old Posers) who couldn’t deal with the fall out and the restructuring.

Myth is PERFECT for them, as they want to move the party to the Left, obviously. Santorum never earned the political gravitas to pull it off, never had run squat, but for his mouth, like Biden II, so the powers showed him the back of their hand too. (And after all those years of ingratiating himself!)

I am a conservative an don’t give two dead flies about
Romney calling out BO regarding Ayers & Wright.
Didn’t work last time & won’t this time. Still think
Kerry was a fool for rehashing a sitting POTUS mil-
tary record in 04. Would love for the Romney cam-
paign to challenge the MSM when needed and ap-
propriate. I’d like to see Romney get under BO’s
skin in the debates. BO will not survive the light
of truth shining down on his phony presidency
and lightweight Mitt has to get past himself to
make that happen.

I supported Newt in the primaries but will vote for Romney on the basis of anyone but Obama. Does that make me bear the blame now?

Samuel Adams stated ...."Let each citizen remember at the moment he is offering 'his vote' that he is executing one of the most 'solemn trusts' in human society for which he is 'accountable to God and his country'.

Anyone who votes for Romeny or Obama bears the 'blame' for who they are supporting.... Conservatives do attempt to dodge the issue by their Romney support, but a candidate whose own supporters have to start every sentence with,.. “Yeah, I hate him too, but...”... is doomed..... like it or not "now"....all doors lead to the basement of the same outhouse.

It is wise to consider when we vote for an individual to sit in the official seat as President, we are voting not just for a person, but for that person’s platform and giving 'our consent' to his governance....Ballots Do Not contain room for voters to indicate why thy have chosen a particular candidate. ..it therefore will always be "for" the candidate and the platform which he stands for.

How you determine your vote is your determination alone and none other.....For muself as a Conservative ,I will not adhere my signature nor give my consent to Socialist/Marxist platforms... Romney and Obama will take us further down those tracks....I may unwillingly have to ride that cat but I sure don't have to sign up for it...and I won't.

But to answer your question... do you bear the blame for who you vote for? ....One would ask then what are you voting "for" and what does 'your vote' mean to you? might be a better question.

Why, after saying he cannot tell the superPACs that support him what to do, when it came to Newt Gingrich, is he now going out of his way to dissociate himself from any discussion of Obama on this subject by those superPACs? What he’s done is to “call off the dogs” on this, something he refused to do when it came to Gingrich just a few months ago, laughing it off as the nature of politics.”

..."You know, that’s really a tremendous point"....

You bet it is....revealing just what we have known...Romney is a part of this rotten to the core scam of an election and both parties are playing the public bigtime! The voter be aware cannot be said strong enough.

I will not be at all surprised that Romney hands the debates to Obama as well.

Romney ran a scorched earth campaign against Newt...where is his “fight” when it comes to Obama?

He ran it against 'all' the conservative candidates....his money bought and paid to take them all down, with th exception of Santorum....which was another distraction put out there for conservatives to run with....and which Romney was already favorable to since we all knew he'd never make it past Pa. and offered him the cash cow to bow out...because he could be bought.

Nah...Romney's not going to clobber away at Obama...he isn't made of "fight" stuff.....he'll do it all behind the scenes and come out smelling like a rose if he does it at all....but he'll loose the election anyway....the ABO vote is not going to be enough to overcome the left vote, the black vote, and if he grants some form of ammnesty for the Hispanic vote, which I suspect he'll do, Obama will wrap that up too.....not to mention the Union votes and all those on some form or another of welfare. Need I mention all the fraud votes...especially since the final tally will be done in Spain!

Romney doesn't have a chance.....it's just not going to happen for the man.....unless of course Obama decides he's tired of being President. I honestly don't think he has it in him, nor his wife to go another 4 years. But time will tell.

I had a call from the Romney campaign and told them exactly what I thought and why I would have a problem with him being our nominee.

I've gotten three now...One from the NRC Nation, One from the State and one from The Gop...and each one was touting the 'fear mongering' responses just as see on these threads. It was all about ABO and nothing about Romney's record...not one word! Even when I tried to discuss that...nothing.

I hate to say it but Romney and the GOP callers are as incapable of sharing a thought that isn't scripted for them ahead of time any more than Romney can...and none of it is about Romney. They should be embarrassed..and no wonder the Liberals say Conservatives are dunces...they keep showing that to be the case.

But as you say ...none of it matters....to them or to the Party....they simply want the vote...and they will not be getting mine!

Seems to me he’s not too wise -
with Barry he identifies.
Why else would Mitt not be a man
and fight Obama all he can?

I’ll bet Mitt’s sons could tell a lot
about the kind of dad they’ve got.
They know full well his bully ways;
his tactics, lies and empty praise.

You see it in his grandkids’ eyes —
their empty looks, like props he buys.
Nothing truly joyous there -
I don’t believe they really care.

Not like Newt’s grandkids at all -
Newt shared with them his vision tall.
What has Mitt to offer kids,
but future debt and homo vids?

Romney and Obama will take us further down those tracks....I may unwillingly have to ride that cat but I sure don't have to sign up for it...and I won't.

Then you are willing to ride "that cat" much faster "down those tracks" with Obama than with Romney. Obama is much worse than Romney would be. Please understand, that does not mean Romney is a conservative. But he's an American, loyal to this country who believes in our system. OK if you disagree but I'm convinced of that. It does mean that Obama is a destructive, leftist radical whose agenda is inimical to the best interests of the nation and whose removal is imperative to the survival of our country as we've known it. And that, to me, is the essence of conservatism. I've said all I can. You're welcome to disagree.

I will no longer vote for a RINO-E. Not voting for Romney is not a vote for zero. It does not compute.

From now on a candidate earns my vote. It is not given.

If enough conservatives think like you and withhold their vote for the RINO Romney (the Republican In Name Only), welcome to another 4 years with the DINO Obama(Democrat In Name Only), who is actually the Marxist Obama. I remember when Democrats weren’t all communists and socialists so if Romney is one of those he’ll be an improvement over what we have.

Don’t tell me Romney wants to win but doesn’t want to talk about Reverend Jeremiah Wright, or Bill Ayers, or the whole rogues’ gallery of philosophical villainy that accompanies Barack Obama...hmmm - maybe that's why Romney has gone from a 50 to 42 percent lead over Obama in last weekend's Rasmussen poll of likely voters to today's 46 to 44 deficit - as good an explanation as any......

Shhhhh - too many willing to make the distinction between Romney and the "perfect" candidate who isn't running. They refuse to make the distinction between pure evil and sinfulness...Already got the flame-retardant suit on...

too many willing to make the distinction between Romney and the "perfect" candidate who isn't running...ah yes, weltschmerz - the sadness caused by comparing reality with what one would like to see ideally - a treacherous marker on which to decide one's political preferences, but no matter - today Romney's down another point to Obama, trailing by 3 - reality will be catching up to us all soon enough.....
