Yes, she called him "The People's Son" and no, I didn't write this as satire. This is a real author and a real article.

It’s a shame that someone who is capable of writing coherent sentences, as this author is, has nothing but nonsense to convey.

Smoking marijuana is a criminal act therefore Trayvon Martin was a criminal.

Marijuana Does Not make you aggressive.

Unless it is laced with PCP. "Angel Dust" is a common adulterant of low grade marijuana, and can produce extremely violent episodes. So, if no one tested for PCP, we just don't know.

Alcohol is also a downer. Marijuana is less a downer than an anti-anxiety drug.

Also, marijuana is illegal. Alcohol is not.

If they released Zimmerman’s toxicology report and it showed he had THC or booze in his system, this woman would be a stark-raving-mad lunatic saying he should be executed. Double-standards always exist for blacks and Democrats but never for whites.

Suppressed thought processes and reaction times should not be a factor? In a single-car crash in non-inclement weather where a substance was previously taken, that’s the ONLY factor. Why should this be any different?

Oh that’s right, because the Communists have an agenda with this story.

Garbage! No person has the right to beat up another regardless of the circumstances. Trayvon was a real punk and all he had to do is leave peaceful. Instead he decided to attack. If that happened to me I would have shot also.

"Even if he was stoned out of his mind from smoking the best weed ever grown, he still wouldn’t have been in an aggressive state because weed is a downer and not an upper."

Ursula doesn't get around much. Weed isn't a downer. I believe weed is classed as an hallucinogen. I've crossed paths with soldiers and insurgents throughout Africa and Central America who, while high on weed, got off on wiping out entire villages, and hacking off people's limbs with machetes. Nothing more scary than being stopped at an African military checkpoint by a leering, red-eyed Congolese with an RPG, and joint between his teeth.

The twinkie defense all over again?

You want a real Laff Riot?

Run that article through the Ebonics Translator. It comes out the funniest thing I have read in a long time.

Unfortunately decorum prohibits me from posting the output here.

"Ever since Trayvon Martin was gunned down by George Zimmerman just moments from his front door"

Well, that opening line tells me pretty much all I need to know about the author.

"Gunned down", huh? That's just what a white hispanic WOULD do.

"Everyday people of all ages, races, and social statuses fire up blunts, smoke joints, and hit bongs in hopes of easing their minds and obtaining that good feeling."

BWAAAAAHAHAhahahahaha! This is a great way to frame the argument, eh? Well his mind is 'eased' like a mofo now.

Once I was nearly run over by four pot-smokers in a car. They were trying to hit me.

THC makes you paranoid and murderous.

Even if being high doesn’t make one (more) agressive, it could certainly make a person wander aimlessly which is exactly the behavior that raised Zimmerman’s suspicion in the first place. So actually, it was THE factor when you consider that the prosecution’s whole case is that Zimmerman should not have left his car.

Was it just me or did anyone else watch that 7-11 surveillance video and think Trayvon was gonna stick the place up?

After watching Trayvon fumble with money and meander around the store getting I T and skillets, and then GZ stating that he thought that he was on “drugs or something” da ganja did play some part in this incident.

Not to mention the tweets where on of TM’s cronies is trying to buy weed from him...

Yep, he’s an angel alright./s

He had committed a crime by smoking dope.

THC levels in his bloodstream showed legal intoxication.

He was under the influence of an illegal drug.

These are the facts.

Thank you for providing the 'alternative' view and giving us a chance to remark on it.

1. You can’t judge someone for something you have done or still do.

By 'you', she means OTHER PEOPLE, not herself...of course. Her whole article is about her 'judgement' of the public reaction.

2. Marijuana Does Not make you aggressive.

No, but living up to the GANGSTA CULTA does, and a brother gotta smoke.

3. People use drugs and alcohol use to paint imperfect pictures of people.

People use drugs and alcohol to paint a perfect picture of an imperfect world. If an alcohol or drug abuser is seeing everything through a haze, then how can they complain when told their 'view' of reality isn't 'perfect', and that maybe others who can see 'clearly' are just pointing out the truth?

4. Drug use of any type is irrelevant because Trayvon was minding his own business while was he was on his way home.

I am sure every drunk driver who has killed innocent pedestrians agrees with you, young lady.

The real (unasked) question here is... Had the juvenile delinquent (legally correct term, by the way) not had any trace of drugs in his system, would he still have sucker punched Zimmerman and then continued to beat him possibly to death?

Unfortunately for you, missy, the answer is YES.
