Our bureaucratic overlords dont know the first thing about running businesses, which are required to make a profit without printing money or stealing it. But they do know how to ram egalitarian ideology down peoples throats. The results are hardly profitable:
Salon and barbershop owners are fuming over the enforcement of a provision that requires them to charge men and women the same prices.
Managers complain that it can take much longer to cut a womans hair.
Bureaucrats counter these arguments by pointing out that men and women are exactly the same, because moonbat ideology says so.

That might take a little longer than a crew cut.
New York City salons, barber shops fume over having to charge men, women the same prices
Crewcuts look better too.
Maybe a burka...
You will never be able to get me to set foot in New York City.
pic: *urgmmph* I threw up a little. You can see the spiders and roaches crawling around in her hair-pastry.
Rachel Maddow has a man's haircut - she should get charged the ‘short haircut’ price.
Russel Brand has a woman's haircut - he should get charged the ‘long hair’ price.
Charge Rachel Maddow for a man’s haircut and watch the salon get charged with a hate crime for “offending” a “protected minority”.....
Tell them to pound sand. If they persist, start charging by the minute.
That’s the ticket. Install a taxi meter next to the chair.
YIKES!!!!!
Why the heck does the city care what barber shops charge for a haircut. If people don’t like the price they can go to another shop.
Pretty easy.
Thats the ticket. Install a taxi meter next to the chair.
Knowing New York city they would love that idea. Then they can start charging for Chair Medallions that would soon cost 500K to purchase. And then a whole new bureaucracy would emerge... Ah Yes the wonders of Bloombergism.
More of the war on the private sector.
Liberals just feel freer now to wage this war with Obama and the Feds leading the way.
How much degreaser would a barber have to charge to fix that mess!
Simple fix! Cut ALL hair short, like they did me in basic training back in 1966.
***You will never be able to get me to set foot in New York City.****
Never say “Never”. I just got back from six days there last week! Wonderful time! Took in four Broadway plays, ate at Tony’s in Times Square, went to a YANKEES game.
There is a vibrant pulse in the city I will miss! And the people were NOT rude, except for the drivers. Even the cabbies were respectful, except to other drivers. I saw Donald Trump in the audience at PHANTOM OF THE OPERA.
Would I go again? YES!
Of course, I got my haircut at our local barber shop before I went there.
Okay, I never will. Never never.
They ought to start charging by the minute and just use the same rates...
