Let me get this straight we gave them inflatable combat boats which to them would amount to rubber ducks in a bathtub and it makes news ?

I wonder if you can still get those ww 2 Willy’s surplus jeeps or maybe some fallout shelter 1920’s tins of survival hard candy if you can would it be worthy of the media’s scrutiny ?

Now if we were giving away WMD’s it would be worthy of print but this media would never touch it with a ten foot pole unless of course a Real American President were in the white house then it would be a full blown front page spread with 10 pages of following script ....And of course it would be all bad real or made up !

It is what it is; apparently — indeed, clearly — people want to know about such transfers of military equipment. U.S. Trade & Aid Monitor serves as a repository of information about how U.S. taxpayer funds are being spent on such projects. Some are billion-dollar initiatives. Some are much smaller, like this one — though these are high-performance special ops boats, not simply inflatable tub toys, as you suggest.
