“If Y2K wasnt a problem then why did companies waste billions of dollars to upgrade systems and thousands of man hours on it?”
Ask them not me.
They sure wasted a lot of money on hysteria...on something that never happened. In the end, Y2K was never a problem. It was in invention. It was pure hysteria.
Because they waisted money it made it true? But everyone can spend their money as they foolishly and stupidly as they wish. That’s not my problem.
Stupid is as stupid does.

Are you being factious or you are you just dense?
The reason Y2K didn’t cause problems was because systems were fixed and upgraded before there would have been trouble. We will never know how much trouble would have been caused by Y2K as it was not allowed to occur. Taking warning and heading off a disaster doesn’t mean the threat from the disater was real.

Stupid is as stupid does.
If the shoe fits pal.
Why spend money and manpower on Homeland defense? After all there hasn't been an attack since 9/11. Can't you process that the preperation for Y2K is what ultimately avoided it?
