I’m going to have to revise my opinion of liberals... apparently some of them do have residual cognitive ability after all those years of childhood brainwashing.
This must be the mother of all “follow the money” scenarios when the powers that be are determined to force it down the throats of Americans, even though many both left and right don’t want it. I don’t think it’s any big mystery why Roberts would vote for it nor why the Congressional Republicans haven’t gone full bore to oppose it-there’s too much to gain for too many of them. What’s another piddling little expansion of government power when there’s so much lovely loot to go around in Washington?
