I’ve seen fiat decisions by representatives and plenty by the courts, as well as executive declarations, but the people, when asked, have uniformly rejected homosexuality time and time again

If your senator, governor, congressman, mayor, state lawmakers support gay marriage and you vote for them knowing this then you are as much to blame as they. Many will indeed vote for leaders who support Homosexuality. Our two top contenders for President both supported gay marriage.

It saddens me that even the so called staunch conservatives are also OK with it. For example the Cheneys. I could not and I would not say I am proud my child married the same sex. I would have to say that is not the values we taught the person. Sometimes doing right before GOD means taking some tough and unpopular positions even ones that cause you pain for doing so.
