McConnel Realizes The Wrath Of Conservatives, Backs Off The RINO BS

Station WHAS in Kentucky recorded Senator McConnel reciting RINO philosophy:

If you thought it was a good idea for the federal government to go in this direction, I'd say the odds are still on your side, because it's a lot harder to undo something than it is to stop it in the first place.

I imagine the Senator felt the temper and heat of American Conservatism, for within a few hours he crawfished out of that quagmire as best he could. In an interview with Breitbart, McConnel tried to wash away the stain of RINO contamination and capitulation.

I have said many times that if I'm the leader of the majority next year, I commit to the American people that the repeal of ‘Obamacare’ will be job one,” he reiterated. “That includes pursuing reconciliation. What people need to understand is that this is literally a fight for the future of our country and Democrats have proven during this debate that they will stop at nothing to protect this massive expansion of government into our lives and our health care. We need to be aware that this will take every ounce of our energy to accomplish.

Trying to save his political reputation and future, McConnel went on stress that the fight must continue on after the election, with spirited drama.

Agree. He may try to back off words but he will take actions in the opposite direction.

“That includes pursuing reconciliation."

What the hell does that mean you pasty-faced weasel? This RINO needs retirement as he hasn't a clue about why he was elected in the first place!

Reconciliation was how the Dems got it passed in the first place. It means they only need 51 votes to pass instead of the 60 or whatever it is.

His original “it’s more difficult to undo” BS is his mantra. He will not repeal. He will not attempt to repeal. He’ll SAY he is or will.

McConnel, Bohner, etc need to get out of the Beltway bubble and see things the way flyover country does - the other side is mad up of amoral huns who take no prisoners, and the ‘play by the rules’ attitude of the GOP establishment comes across as worse than wimpy & obsequious, it sounds like complicity.

At least he is a republican. They can be influenced, as is proven right here. For those hold-outs out there who aren’t voting for Romney for some ideologically pure stand take heed. You will give Bammy the Presidency. Will that make you happy?

Oh Lord.

Is there anything we can do to stop THAT train wreck?

Mitch McConnell's (future) behavior isn't being influenced here. Only what he is (currently) saying is being influenced.

He is no different than an 18 year man promising great things tomorrow to get into her panties tonight. McConnell has a sterling record as a weak, wishy washy man who will say what you want to hear (even his "strong" statements seem to come across as half hearted), and revert right back to his real self as soon as the ballots are counted.

He is way too untrustworthy to be believed. In this case past performance is a very reliable indicator of future returns. Nada.

I go hot & cold on McConnell. More cold than hot. Occasionally I hear him say good things. Mostly, not.

“What people need to understand is that this is literally a fight for the future of our country’, says McConnell. I don’t believe he really understands yet. We the people recognize we can lose our country with men like him leading us. He still thinks it is going to be too difficult to do.
