Why would Americans buy 150,000 more guns last month than a year ago? All told, gun sales, which skyrocketed in 2008 in advance of the presidential election then fell back somewhat to normal in 2009, are up 27% overall this year compared with 2011 numbers.

Word of caution on 2400 - that one requires careful work-up to max loads. Best used in 4’ barrels or longer. Short barrels tend to make a big - and I mean BIG - flash and leave unburned powder.

OK, I don’t really like revolvers with less than 4” barrels.

Same here. Had ‘em, had my hands and ears smacked by ‘em enough to give ‘em a pass a long time ago. Had a little S&W model 60, and a Ruger .357 snubby.

Now, having said that, one of my favorite pistols today is a S&W 629 .44 with a 6” barrel. Big bang theory indeed.

Even if Obama signs the UN treaty (he says he will), it can't be adopted unless two thirds of the Senate vote for it.

It can't be formally "adopted" but it can be imposed by regulation and EO in a second kenyan term with 5 Justices on the Court, including Chief Justice Earl W John Roberts to back it all up.

I know the guys at the Apopka location pretty well. Haven’t been to any of his new places down south. I need to get some range time with my shotgun too. Just need to check what size shot they allow.

The UN Arms Trade Treaty that has been identified by observers as a flagrant threat to the second amendment and which Barack Obama is determined to sign...............Former US Ambassador to the UN John Bolton also warns that the agreement “is trying to act as though this is really just a treaty about international arms trade between nation states, but there is no doubt that the real agenda here is domestic firearms control.”
