It sort of makes sense. Human beings and states are the objects of USC. Corporations and other (non-corporal) legal fictions are not objects of USC _rights_. By the fact that USG creates legal fictions, they are properly under full USG control.
Mushing around with USC for this purpose, would only be warranted to stop the trend of making corporations, individuals, with the same rights. They aren’t and don’t...
