President Barack Obama will turn 51 in just a few days and has sent an e-mail to his supporters requesting his preferred gift - their cash. ""My upcoming birthday next week could be the last one I celebrate as President of the United States," the message reads, "but that's not up to me -- it's up to you." He then goes on to urge people to donate before the end-of-the-month reporting deadline.
This connection between a birthday and our Fundraiser-in-Chief comes just a month after the establishment of the Obama Event Registry. That tacky little program encourages anyone who has a birthday, bar or bat mitzvah, wedding, or anniversary coming up to ask their friends and family to make a donation to the president's re-election campaign instead of giving them an actual gift.
So according to Mr. Obama: If it's your birthday, give me your money. If it's my birthday, give me your money. If it's a day that ends in a y, give me your money.
No surprise his attitude toward campaigning is the same as his attitude toward governing.
Can you imagine how pathetic this shows this administration to be? What a jackass? The so-called leader of the free world . . .
Why doesn’t he just do what he really wants to do, proclaim himself President-For-Life and be done with it?
Obama’s birthday?
Are you sure he was born? Not hatched under a rock (as one of my friends says).
We do not know where, when and to whom he was actually born, even now.
It’s good to be the King. First Night Privilege next.
Wow. How.....presidential.
So, imagine a FReeper gets drawn to go to this soiree. What does a good FReeper get The One for a birthday gift?
