How to Destroy A Boy in One Sentence
American Thinker ^ | July 31, 2011 | Stella Paul

Walking home this morning, I saw a frizzy-haired mother with a lefty vibe and Savonarola expression. Her young son ran in front of her, chasing pigeons. I listened, awestruck, as she admonished him thusly: "In your next life, I hope you come back as a pigeon, so you know what that feels like." Confused, the boy said, "What?" She repeated her wisdom in sterner tones.

I'm dazzled by her genius at packing several soul-crushing blows into one sentence:

1) You're going to be reincarnated as punishment

2) Your mother eagerly awaits your eternal punishment

3) Walk robotically by my side at all times and make no impromptu moves

4) Birds don't like to fly

Now that I think about it, she looked like a teacher. She probably gets to do this to 30 kids all day long.

Liberals HATE kids, even their own. They’re just obstacles to the free-sex and party life that they really crave.

Ok, maybe a bit over the top (just a bit). But seriously, would ANY parent that truly loved their kids subject them to our public schools, like the vast majority of liberal parents do?

And then people are surprised that young white men shoot up college campuses and movie theaters. With that kind of parenting, I’m surprised we don’t have many more incidents than we do.

This stellar “parent” then gets in her SUV and heads to the store and in route she talks and texts, cuts off and tail gates other drivers and while in the parking lot she cuts off someone else in an attempt to get as close to the front door as possible. These ubiquitous type people make me want to puke

Liberals HATE kids, even their own.

The majority of liberal women aren't having any kids. They even have a term for it: child-free. It is very positive and empowering for them, I'm sure.

The downside for us is that becase they don't have any kids of their own to indoctrinate, they will attempt to indoctrinate other people's children instead. If the children of the conservative parents that I know are any indication, they are doing a great job of it. Almost the entire lot of them are entitled, preening, wanton little snots.

Now that you mention it, the woman sounds like every single teacher that I ever had, save one.

It's no wonder children today are ruined.

Except for the bizarre reference to reincarnation, what’s the fuss about?

Many boys are selfish and cruel toward animals as they discover their superiority and power over them. Most grow out of it with instruction and maturity, and develop a heart that is tender and protective of the weak.

I’d say this mother loves her son enough to instruct him, albeit from a flawed perspective.

Well I would say this may be her(from a local classified)
Loving Soul To Spend Time With Our Daughter Manchester, CT 06042 Occasional (as needed)

Hi there, my daughter will be turning 4 in August. We’ve never really had a babysitter for her, other than my parents, but I am feeling like it would be really nice to have another person or 2 we could call upon to watch her when we have plans, events, etc that come up. Here’s a bit about us: I am an artist & living food chef. I also teach classes and do consults. Her dad does freelance film work, so his schedule is different every week, he is not always here. My daughter is with me most of the time right now. We eat mostly raw, mostly vegetarian, super food-enriched, nutrient-dense diet, food is sacred & we really care about what we put in our bodies. We love to have tea parties, make lots of art, we have a big garden in our front yard, we’re very Eco-friendly, pretty crunchy kinda people.. One requirement I have for anyone coming into my home is no chemicals/fragrances, as I am pretty sensitive, no perfumes, scented body care products (aside from natural essential oils), fabric softeners, etc. We use all natural everything. My daughter is a magical little love, she’s super independent, intelligent, and knows what she wants and does not want, she has always been that way. She loves art, playing outside, riding her bike, gardening, water, sand, animals, reading, singing, helping. She wants her hands in everything I’m doing. We’ve practiced attachment parenting with her from the start, so it would be great if you had an understanding of that, we’ve nursed, co-slept, cloth-diapered, we always wore her in carriers, we are very holistically-minded. We’ve also been learning about NVC & trying to use that in our communications. Even since before my daughter was born, I’ve been very attracted to Waldorf education & Rudolf Steiner and it is totally in alignment with our values and passions. I would love to find someone to spend time with her who is really passionate about teaching and guiding in a child-led kind of way, and who maybe knows something about Waldorf-style education, and who is creative, fun and kind. I am really looking for someone who understands our values about food, eco-friendliness, parenting, communicating, etc and preferably is living in a similar way. As far as payment goes, we can pay in $, and I often barter as well sometimes, if that’s something you’re interested in. Raw foods, etc. Thank you! Blessings & Blissings!

to me, the worst part is the opening to the “you are going to die” truth which to a child is just under “Mommy & Daddy will die”.

Yea - they self-appoint themselves as “child-experts”, write books, take over our schools, etc.

And we conservatives, in large number at least, march our kids RIGHT INTO THEIR JAWS, thinking that they “must be good people”, just trying to help us make their kids into good, American, adults.

Considering that "mom" is a walking, talking (incessantly?) pile of neuroses, I can't say that I blame him ... He should have thought of that, though, before he procreated with her. His poor daughter is likely to grow up even more screwed up than "mom".

Parents say lots of things without thinking. Maybe the mother was simply exasperated with her child’s antics and had already told him not to do it before the author came along. Maybe she was tired and the boy was being a little b*stard; Kids do that, you know. Then again, maybe she is an idiot and a tree hugging nutbag. Maybe it’s all of these at once. I wasn’t there so it’s hard to say.

I just know I had to Google “Savonarola.”
