If youve ever contributed to a political campaign, your email box is filling up as the campaigns are hitting you up to give AGAIN before midnight so your cash counts toward the latest fundraising period ..which ends at midnight tonight.
But sheesh the past four days have marked a new low in desperate fundraising pleas from the Democrats. From all levels. The Leader of the Free World Himself, President Obama, sent out a note Tuesday morning with the subject line: So?
So? Isnt so? a bit beneath the Prez?
It was barely more dignified than Obamas fundraising e-mail blast from the other day when his subject line was hey. Why is the president addressing e-mails like a teenage boy ambling up to ask out the cute girl in his second period trig class? Here he shamelessly fundraises off of his own birthday. It could be his last as president, he writes.
Excuse us for a minute . Waaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Im not going to be president on my birthday anymore. Back to the Prez:
My upcoming birthday next week could be the last one I celebrate as President of the United States, but thats not up to me its up to you. This July deadline is our most urgent yet, coming after two consecutive months of being significantly outraised by Romney and the Republicans. If you pitch in $8 or whatever you can before midnight tonight, you and a guest will be automatically entered one more time to join me at my birthday get-together next month.

What a tool.
He sounds pathetic and is getting worse by the day.
I thought they hit rock bottom when they suggested newlyweds should register themselves with the campaign so as to divert their wedding gift cash to Obummer. Can you get any lower than that?
“Can you get any lower than that?”
Don’t ask a question that you really don’t want answered...
“If you don’t vote for this president, he’ll eat this dog.”
True........
Speaking of lows, wait till late October and see what the media has in store.
He’ll eat the dog whether or not he’s elected.
LOL! Nice job!
Amazing that this appears in the SF Chron, albeit on a reporter’s blog. Garafoli is pretty far to the left.
