Adam Smith, the once-CFO and Treasurer of Vante, Inc. bullied a young employee of Chick-fil-A and got fired for being a "nice guy," "a heterosexual" and "feeling purposeful." Greg Gutfeld profiles the "d-bag." View the video here.

Vante, Inc is a medical device manufacturing firm in Tucson, probably trying to stay in business after ObamaCare's new tax on all medical device producers. The company fired Adam Smith. Two thumbs up to Vante.
Effective immediately, Mr. Smith is no longer an employee of our company," the company said in a statement.
"The actions of Mr. Smith do not reflect our corporate values in any manner. Vante is an equal opportunity company with a diverse workforce, which holds diverse opinions. We respect the right of our employees and all Americans to hold and express their personal opinions, however, we also expect our company officers to behave in a manner commensurate with their position and in a respectful fashion that conveys these values of civility with others," the statement added.
Uh huh. Rude and unusual behavior.
The young Chick-fil-A employee who took this abuse was sweet and polite throughout. Note that Vante took this step without being pressured by Conservatives and/or Christians. The Five discussion on Smith follows Gutfeld's rant. For two other exemplary examples of Liberalism, see this and this.
Bump for later.
Rude? Yes.
Unusual? Not for the Left..............
As in the military there are penalties for “conduct unbecoming an officer”, so too are there penalties for “conduct unbecoming an executive”.
However, the UofA simply punted by noting the miscreant’s position was non-tenure track and had expired.
If that were the case, Obama would be in Leavenworth eating kale.
Red Badger, so true.
You want to bet? We were all over this yesterday. Many of us, myself included, sent complants to Vante as well as Arizona State. Avante's server was down on several occasions from the amount of traffic they received. I have no doubt the quick response by them was due mainly to the sever number of complaints they received.
Yes, I agree. I intended to say there were no big headlines with Vante’s name. They did it so quickly, and from their comments they were not afraid of Liberals. The other advantage: who can boycott a medical device company.?
Vante has now made a public statement that his termination was mutually agreed on, and based in part on the email complaints received, specifically mentioning those that linked to the video. Also, that his termination was based on actions incompatible with his position within the company.
Vante is not that old, nor that large, a corporation. RummyChick has stated she's seen their sales to be around $15M a year. That shows them to still be in the early, struggling stage of corporate growth. This is the last kind of exposure they need.
