Makes sense if you consider there are no K-Y Jelly stores.
I’ve decided to have lunch again at Chick-Fif-A today. That is still the barometer on this issue, as I see it.
Their chopped chicken sandwich looks interesting. I’ve never tried one.
The thing the gay groups do not understand is this whole CFLA thing was not about gay marriage. It was about Gov’t trying to discriminate against a company because of the owners views.
America basically told those mayors to GFT! What’s the Gay population 2-3% max? As long as it only affects the gay community, America could care less! However, the gay community better not try to infringe or derogate the rights of all to satisfy their bitchy, selfish, perverted lifestyle!
“Starbucks may also be looking at JC Penney and how their pandering to the gay community has affected them. “
Funny thing is, probably very few fags shop at JC Penney. It’s not nearly fashionable enough for them.
That could have been behind JC Penny's logic. They wanted to expand their base. Instead, they drove away a good portion of their base by pandering to the angry few.
Starbucks at least appears to be smarter than that. Not that I'll patronize them any time soon. I haven't been to one in over a year. No reason to change my thinking on that regardless of what they do.
i stopped today also, bc i do every day, on the way to work. i wasn’t aware of the day either, but there was no indication of any kind in there that anyone, customer or employee, was celebrating gay marriage or even aware of this being a celebratory day. it was the same regulars who are in there every AM at 6, when i stop on my way to work.
I’m confused. When I google for the position of Starbucks I see significant and obvious support for the gay agenda. In fact, the CEO of Starbucks cancelled a speaking event at a megachurch because some online petition said that church was anti-gay.

what are you confused about? i am not disputing any gay support by the corporation, was merely noting that the people in my local starbucks, much like myself, are there for the coffee and not to support a cause. and also, to note that there was no apparent celebration of anything by anyone in my starbucks today.
My problem is that I don’t buy much ephemeral stuff. I can’t participate in “boycotts” effectively. But I CAN participate in “buycotts”.
The only way I can respond to this is go to Chick-Fil-A today or buy coffee somewhere that is NOT starbucks. The latter doesn’t seem that effective.
Have their been long lines out today? Does anyone have any reports from Starbucks today?
NOBODY knows about this appreciation day.
Business is just same old same old.
So when the MSM reports this and/or the appreciation day homosexual marriage or appreciation day marriage equality is done, it will not be chick-fill-a that pops up. The homosexuals are erasing history by croping the story.
Turn on your headlights at night to show support for XYZ
When I was in college in the early 90's, the BiGALA group actually had the nerve to declare a "Denim Day" in support of their agenda. 98.9999% of all college kids typically wear denim, so what's the point?
Of course, I made sure to wear khakis that day.
just don’t try to give me crap for going to Starbucks, which is my usual routine. because GUESS WHAT? if i want a Starbucks Iced Venti Latte, i am going to HAVE a Starbucks Iced Venti Latte /antoine dodson. Go and tell THAT homeboy! ; )
I’m sure it will be every bit as successful as the Chick-Fil-A kiss-in was!!
Smart move by the gay community.
Let’s “overwhelm” an institution with 6 times the locations, with an organization 1/20th the size.
That will show em.
Exactly, GreenHornet.
And to all, excellent comments and much appreciated, especially the Kipling quote, but I think many missed my point: Which was that Starbucks itself seems (as per their HQ message to Equally Wed) to be being not only NON-supportive to the Equality crowd, but going so far as to suggest they spend elsewhere. To my thinking this would suggest a rethinking since CFA Appreciation Day. Very promising, IMO.
I appreciate your first hand stories of some of what Mr. Cathy has done, relating to the children’s home and charities and such.
However, what’s loud and clear here is that none of this matters to the liberals.
To the liberals and Hollywood idiots and other such people, you can do all of the charity work and good works to help others, but, none of it matters unless you support homosexual marriage.
Unless you support homosexual marriage, all of your life’s work if worthless, per liberals/Hollywood idiots/MSM news readers, liberal talking heads on MSNBC, etc.
this will have the positive impact of “gay days” at disney...NOT.
At that families stay away and the park offers free t-shirts of a non-whatever color so normal people do not get associated. Security also has the burden of expelling homosexuals engaged in inappropriate behavior.
Homosexual groups will turn this into a shakedown. “give us money or we will appreciate your business so much 98% of your customer base will stay away”
