Syria can be viewed in two ways:

1) Keep Assad in power - he's a known quantity and somehow...stable.
2) Oust Assad and take whatever comes next - Islamic Jihad operating on the Turkish, Iraqi, Jordanian and Israeli borders.

I can just see it now. Israel will be asked to perform some sort of “goodwill gesture” to the Jihadis in the Golan Heights as they were forced to do time and time again with the PLO (now called the Palestinian Authority - PA). Good old Mad Albright was behind that mess and Shrillary Clintoon is furthering her disasterous policies began in the early 1990’s.

Oh woe is us if this dynamic duo are reelected. A word of advice to the Israelis: Dig your bomb shelters even deeper if BHO is reelected.

...the Free Syrian Army killed ... General Vladimir Kojaiv ... Russia is believed to have hundreds of troops and advisors still in Syria. Russia also operates its naval base at Tartus, the only Russian base outside of its borders. Russia also docked weapons for the regime in the port since the uprising began.
