Starbucks Appreciation Day by Gay/Lesbian fizzles
Facebook/others ^ | August 8, 2012

Posted on 08/08/2012 7:40:18 AM PDT by topher

Gay/Lesbian community is blaming both FoxNews and Mike Huckabee for their failure. That is documented in stories by the New York Daily News and Los Angeles Times.

Of course, people may have been confused by the wording of the day: it was billed as Marriage Equality day. To the average person, what does Marriage Equality mean? Sounds like Double Speak.

Facebook is one source for this story.

National Marriage [promoted by Gays/Lesbians] Equality Day

Another is the Los Angeles Times.

New York Daily News is another:

Gay marriage battle moves from Chick-fil-A to Starbucks as supporters plan ‘National Marriage Equality Day’

As a post action report, just over 230,000 people were invited and just over 37,000 people went.

This is compared with the 600,000 that joined the Chick-Fil-A Appreciation Day by liking the event on Facebook.

This event fizzled.

It probably with be George Washington Bush's fault, except he is no longer president.

homosexual failures are reported with the same skill as clinton cattle future losses.

What gays need to understand is that they are only 2% of the population and the 98% has said enough

Isn't fag marriage day every day at Starbucks? I used to go there years ago for my vanilla latte, with an extra shot of espresso.

Haven't been to one in eons because I didn't like the crowd. There were couches and chairs w/ tables set up in our local one; however, when I looked at the patrons, all I could think about was lice and bed bugs.

Once skeeved, that was it.

The W stands for Walker, not Washington. But yes, W is missed.

On the side, Fox News supported the Chick-Fil-A because Mike HuckaBee's affiliation with them...

Of course, Huck was balanced by Shep who said that Chick-fil-A was bigoted.

It wasn’t heavily advertised because they didn’t want a backlash. My daughter’s boyfriend insisted they go.

I’ve heard the same about McDonalds coffee, though never had it myself.

If anyone has any Dairy Barns around (I call it Lazy barn cause you don’t have to get out of your car), they have excellent coffee as well.

They are selling it now to the public so you can make it at home.

Made in the USA too!

“Have you tried McDonalds coffee? It’s better than Starbucks and half the price - only a good choice if you’re getting ‘to go’ - other than that stay with Starbucks.”

I only get McDonalds coffee when no Starbucks, Green Mountain, Caribou or home-brew is available. And then I only drink McD for that first critical wake-up cup when I travel. I think it’s just “coffee” without a really good rich strong black coffee taste.

Shep thou dost protest too much. Why would this surprise anyone? On one side you have half of the country. If only a small percentage came out on August 1st it would swamp Chick Fil A, and we did! :) on the other side you have less than 2% of the population and not all of them are on board with the Gay agenda. Not even the mafia (stop that spellcheck!) i mean media, could spin this one. Shep was very frustrated that truth won on August 1st!

Fixed it!

-----

I haven't heard any official report from anyone not claiming to be 'for the cause', so I'll just have to take all the eyewitness reports from individuals who all say it was an EPIC FAIL!

LOL!

There used to be a time when Oscar Wilde called homosexual relations — “The Love that dares not speak its name”.

Now it has become the “Love that won’t shut the F up!”

Did anyone consider that homosexuals are far too few in number to make a difference, and that their supporters are mainly college students who are broke and can barely afford Dunkin Donuts coffee?

No, the problem was that the organizers used the word “day” and all the creeps had tremendous difficulty coordinating around that concept. Then they went into “blame” mode, like EVERY OTHER GD thing these useless twits rant and rave over.

Maybe Lindsey Graham took time away from working “deals” with
democrats, that will screw our country, to visit Starbucks.

Your analogy may be correct, the businesses eagerly supporting the gay marriage thing have voluntarily puckered up to receive the kiss of death.

The backing of these companies empowers the gay movement, which in turn further alienates the companies other customers, and they begin to shop elsewhere.

Any fool CEO who is not noticing this trend, is not worth his bonuses.

There is no logical business reason to even entertain a business to get caught up in these political and social issues, it is a death knell to them.

And, even if they do, to cater to the 2 percent that alienates the 98 percent is a fools folly.

There is no reason on the planet that a person, or company, is obligated to even give in to the pressure from the left to embrace homosexuality, all they have to sa is that they don’t discriminate in hiring or selling, period.

Most companies already have a higher “dissatisfied customer” rate higher than 2-percent for reasons having nothing to do with sexual preference.

The Chick-Fil-A event has already proven that the 98-percent will rally to defend the rights of free speech and association.

So, J.C.Penny, Target. home Depot, Starbucks, et al, you lead this parade at your own peril. You’ve embraced a “rainbow” with no pot of gold at the end.

Don’t know what your definition of “big” is, but they are definitely a supporter of the homosexual causes.

It’s my understanding that the GiBLeT merchandise is sold online only, though ... they apparently realize that if it were actually in the stores it would become ... ummmm ... “shopworn” more rapidly than their other merchandise.
