"The best way to prepare for the coming troubles is to get right with God."

I Have, but I also read the Scripture:

A prudent man sees danger and takes refuge, but the simple keep going and suffer for it. NIV Proverbs 22:3

In the house of the wise are stores of choice food and oil, but a foolish man devours all he has. Proverbs 21:20

But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever. 1 Timothy 5:8

History has shown us all too well that men do not need God’s help to muck things up to a point were their fellows cry out for God to end it all and relieve them of their misery.

God didn't build the Ark he told Noah to. God didn't provide food during the great famine he warned Joseph to store food for it.

Are you an ant or a grasshopper? Are you ready to help yourself and your family should bad times befall us or are you worse than an unbeliever?

Given beethovenfan was the original poster of the quote, thought I’d ping him to your post for a response...
