But the noodling stuff is weird.

Weird? Please. Weird is dressing your dogs and cats up in little outfits. Doodling takes balls. I wouldn’t do it. Some people like adrenaline. At least we know he doesn’t back down from a fight.
Noodlin or grappling catfish may sound weid to those afraid to do it, but its an old traditional way to feed ones family.
Personally, the thought of “feeling” a water moccasin turned me away. Its a sport requiring brass ones! Those TV noodliers are written in to look weird and super hicks, most actual practiciners are serious about it, not at all like the fake-o reality TV shows.
I was talking to a noodler this morning and he said they all think you're weird!
