The reason this happens every single time is the Commission on Presidential Debates picks them.

There are two top dogs. One is a Democrat. The other is Frank J. Fahrenkopf, who was RNC Chairman back during the Reagan era.

Now Frank is probably a pretty good guy but he ended up affiliated closely with Hogan & Hartson, and that takes you to the old Williams and Connelly crowd (and all these lawyers hang around from each other in these corporate daisy chain operations in DC), and when you get to them you find GREG CRAIG!!!!

He's Fidel Castro's lawyer. He's the guy who made sure Elien got sent back to Cuba.

Frankly ~ and let me say that again ~ QUITE Frankly, I don't think Frank Fahrenkopf is representing the interests of the American people very well at all.

From what I see the HARD LEFT with its bullet to the back of the head style is too influential in this process.

Romney, if he didn't already know the outcome planned for him in this election, would be wise to BACK OUT OF ALL THE DEBATES!

Thanks for that excellent background info. I’d forgotten about the “non-partisan” Commission. It’s time to trash that, start over, and avoid at all costs TV network and major newspaper “moderators.”

Exactly. Call a news conference and tell them loud and clear, "Oh hell no!!!"
