Please pray for my family. My youngest son is very ill. This has been going on for two weeks. He is 22 years old. I can count on one hand how many times this kid has been sick, so this is a rare situation for him. Our doctor has run lab work (include blood and urine) and done an ultrasound without any conclusive diagnosis. They are running more tests as of yesterday with no results as yet.
Now on to my oldest son. He just deployed to the Middle East. Nuff said.
My husband has outpatient surgery on Thursday. Normally this would be a easy situation for me to handle, but I am feeling pretty overwhelmed right now.
And the frosting on the cake my old van died a few days ago.
May God send healing soon for your boy. I will pray an earnest prayer right now.

You’re going to find strength that you didn’t even imagine you had. I can’t believe how tough life can be sometimes. All I can tell you is that I’m glad you shared because it lets all of us know we’re not alone. Gets some rest and take care of yourself. You have the prayers of my family too.
Satan plays on our fears,especially in the late nights...I ask God’s hedge of protection against the fiery darts that come and for wisdom for the doctors to locate and diagnose his illness quickly!

Our PC is very quick to refer to a specialist. He has been my PC for around 20 years now. I am a bit surprised that he hasn’t done so already. But I am thinking that he waiting to find a conclusive diagnosis so he knows which specialist he want to refer him.
I am a nurse and was a Lab Tech in the AF many, many years ago. So I have a medical background that helps me navigate the ins and outs of the medical field. Mom here is going to get much more involved if this goes on much longer. I am trying to let him handle this since he is a young adult, but it is so hard to sit back and not put in my two cents worth.

You’re a really good mom. It’s very obvious. I admire the fact that you are respectful of his individuality and self-determinism, but are intimately aware of what he is going through and would clearly do anything for him. That’s wonderful.
You are going through a lot of fear and stress right now, npc. Prayers for you and your family. Hang in there!
