Bishop Calls on All Christians to Leave Democratic Party

Bishop E.W. Jackson is making a war cry: Let Gods people go!
Jackson, a Marine Corps veteran, graduate of Harvard Law School and adjunct professor of law, is echoing the words of Moses in a campaign to persuade Christians of all races that the time has come for a wholesale exodus of Christians from the Democrat Party.
The former candidate for U.S. Senate in Virginia points to what he calls the Democrat party's cult-like devotion to abortion; the rejection of the traditional biblical model of family; the hostility hurled at those who express a Christian viewpoint such as Chick-fil-A president and Chief Operating Officer Dan Cathy; the actions of organizations such as the ACLU and the Foundation For Freedom From Religion in suing cities and towns for displaying crosses at memorials or mentioning the name Jesus in prayer at official events.
Beyond all of this, Jackson says, Democrat operatives are also attacking Gabrielle Douglas, the 16-year old black American who won the 2012 gold medal in gymnastics.
The accomplished young lady had the nerve to give glory to God for her win, Jackson says. This apparently offended liberals.
Case in point: Mary Elizabeth Williams, journalist for the progressive online magazine Salon.com, wrote, I've often wondered what it is about Christians like Douglas that unnerves me so ... Douglas and her ilk seem to espouse a faith based on what is commonly referred to as 'The God of Parking Spaces.'
Jackson, founder and president of STAND (Staying True to America's National Destiny), responds: Progressives are indeed 'unnerved' by devout Christians. That's why they resort to ridicule, even of a 16-year-old Olympic medal winner. Williams says we worship 'The God of Parking Spaces,' but I would prefer Gabby's God of grace and kindness to the leftist's god of ridicule and persecution.
Our Heavenly Father loves us and helps those who are humble enough to ask Him.
Later this month when Democrats make same-sex marriage part of their official Party Platform, the former practicing attorney says they will be spitting in the face of every Bible-believing Christian in America: They will be saying, 'We don't care what you think, what you believe, or what the Bible or the God of the Bible says. We know better than God.'
Jackson's message to Christians is, The Democrat Party has turned its back on Christians. It is time to turn our backs on the Democrat Party.
I won’t dispute that even a little bit.
i followed his advice many years ago and left my dad’s party. and once out of that den of iniquity, i also had the sense to keep my distance from the other major party as well.
I voted for Bishop Jackson in our US Senate GOP primary in June. I’m hoping he has a speaking slot in prime time in Tampa. He would have the entire crowd on its feet! Next time I’m in his part of Virginia, I’m visiting his church.
Then we could say in retaliation, that muzzies are praying to the god of prayer rugs, like Obamboozler and his ilk. I get it.
If Marxism, which underlies the Democrat philosophy, isn’t anti-Christ, then I don’t know what is, except for Islam.
God hears their cries for parking spaces close to the front door of Target, or the P.O., or their urban dwelling. Maybe he even provides those spaces from time to time, caring for sparrows as he does.
I’m so proud of your ecumenism, Dr. K!
Kudos for posting this article.
The “God of parking spaces” remark is most likely meant to be taken derisively, meaning, “You only believe in God when things go your way; thus, when that gymnast praised God for her success, it was a shallow praise because she only believes in God when things go her way”
That’s how I took the remark. In other words, that person believes Christians only praise and love God when things go their way, like when you get a good parking spot in a parking lot. Ergo, Christianity is false because its adherants only “believe” in God when things go their way.
While it’s true some are “fair weather Christians”, it’s unfair and false to paint all of Christianity with such a wide brush; this is to what I’m assuming the good bishop is referring.
Bishop E.W. Jackson is now listed as head of a terrorist organization by US GObamant
No need to pray to God for lost things, we Catholics have St. Anthony who takes care of that job. As for parking spaces, I'm not so sure but there must be a saint in charge of that job too. :-)
Well, it doesn't offend me to be labeled that way. I see it as being thankful to God for all the "little" things as well as for the big things. When I get a favorable parking space I always say, "Thank you for the parking space Lord." What's wrong with that? I see God as ever-present in my life, not as a big person sitting in the sky to call on when I'm in distress. I think that is where these anti-God people miss the truth of what Christians believe, and how they live their lives.
Our preacher the other week told the story of the guy in a hurry and how he prayed and promised God he would quit drinking for a week and go to church for a month if he could get a good parking spot. Just then a car started pulling out of a spot right near the door!
“Oh - never mind God - I got one.”
LOL. That’s typical. See, that would be the Sunday only Christian who goes it alone until the big SHTF.
