Bellevue-based T-Mobile USA will support Washington's Referendum 74, which would affirm the legislatively backed same sex marriage law.

Bellevue-based T-Mobile USA will support Washington's Referendum 74, the company announced Monday.

The referendum, which would affirm the legislatively backed law that legalizes same-sex marriage, will be on the ballot in November.

The company will contribute $25,000 to Washington United for Marriage, the group campaigning to pass the referendum, according to company officials.

On the other side:

"Santorum to boost gay marriage opponents"

Former Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum, an outspoken, longstanding critic of gay rights, will appear in Bellevue and Spokane this fall, as ballots that include a same-sex marriage referendum get mailed to Washington voters.

Santorum is slated to speak at events Oct. 9 and 10 sponsored by the Family Policy Institute of Washington, which upholds the “sanctity” of marriage and advocates “lifelong heterosexual monogamous marriage.”

Joseph Backholm, head of the institute, helped put Referendum 74 on the ballot and chairs Preserve Marriage Washington, which is mobilizing the “No” campaign.

Santorum was last here in February, just as the state House of Representatives was voting to make Washington the seventh state to legalize same-sex marriage. The ex-Pennsylvania senator met in Olympia with legislators and citizens opposed to marriage equality.

Another company blacklisted for FR.

First we ran out of computer systems (well except for Linux), now will it be cell phone providers?

I love the way they frame the narrative. Those who favor the definition of marriage dating to time immemorial are now reduced to nay-sayers “opposed to marriage equality.”

I am sickened by their obviously homophillic President and call on him or her to resign and take his or her hatred with him or her.

Of course the news isn’t news at all, it’s more slanted cheerleading for these crazy warped concepts like faux marriage. Who could possibly “oppose marriage equality”? Ain’t that like when a Negro wasn’t allowed to marry a Caucasian? Well I want to marry my cat and I’m angry because the damn state is so speciesist and won’t do it! That’s no more faux than Adam and Steve!

These fool phone companies, they don’t know when to keep out of something like this. They WILL get their fingers burned, badly.

The truth is: We all have exactly the same right to marry. My right is no different than anyone else. I just must meet a few requirements such as not being currently married, being of a certain age, and marrying a human of the opposite sex. No I cannot have four husbands. No I cannot marry my cat, even though I prefer him to most human males. I must suck it up and remain single if I am not willing to follow the few simple rules.

Yes, you have that right - And it was a stroke of brilliance to move from “gay marriage” or “same-sex marriage” to “marriage equality”. Makes it sound like we don’t want deaf or blind people to be able to marry.

That said, anyone with half a brain can see through it, and we best stop letting them direct the narrative.

Everybody only pay half of your phone bill and see how they like that.

Write them a letter and say why.

If they can afford to give away 25,000 dollars to queers , they can cut your phone bill by half.

I have T-Mobile, am off of the two year contract, so time to shop around. Is there a cell company that supports a Biblical view? It will be a cold day in hell that I ever support T-bendover again!!!!!!!!

Not sure about cell companies.
Maybe Chick Fil A will get into a wide range of businesses.

MIL and I ate at CFA today. It was soooooo good! We both got kid’s meals with lemonade and ate in the shade listening to the guy who subbed for Rush today. It was a great day!

We have ATT but would LOVE to find a company with a Biblical based Mission Statement.
