Senators Distancing Themselves from Obamacare

Tonight WI can be very, very happy that a native son such as Rep. Paul Ryan gave a very, very powerful, direct, and to the point acceptance speech. Watched him give it tonight and I am happy I had waited for him to give it. Thank-you WI for this native son who has done good. :)=^..^=
God Bless and good night!
AWSOME speech by Rep. Ryan. You did the right thing by making coffee.
Wisconsin! Whoo! I remember so clearly the big sweep in 2010, and being absolutely stunned that even Wisconsin went Red :):):) Who knew that it would become a new birthplace of liberty with Ryan AND Walker....wow, just - wow.
God is great.

You see, people usually respond; but they never answer.
I believe it was Aristotle who abhorred those who claimed to have a special connection with the Almighty and would grant absolution for a consideration. There's a lot of money in every church, if you sell the right thing. Religions now sell forgiveness and redemption for violating the ten suggestions; they don't sell virtue. There's lots of buyers.
5:30am and I’m watching the last 10mins I missed, due to a friend’s unexpected visit and problem. Oh well.
Up thread you said:
I will not vote for the perceived security of Romney and trade away my freedom.
Your definition of freedom appears to be having a voice in a meaningful (i.e. not marginal) political party. Fair enough, but that may not be the outcome if we let Obama win. What you are proposing is a gamble and while Romney gives the perception of conservative options, he probably won't deliver. However I don't think he will go wild with gun control as Laz suggested (that's my gamble). And Romney will certainly be better for the economy.
Well, duh. And he knows that and loves every minute of it. But like I said in my post above, you and the others like you are willing to let Obama further trash our economy for a roll of the dice that someone will save it in 2016. I am not, I want to save it now.
Faith is like a well educated, erudite Jain polymath in the 6th century AD leaving the comfort of his skyclad existence and grabbing a linen sheet and a begging bowl and taking up the life of a missionary to the ends of the Earth.
Eventually, according to those who study such matters, a number of such missionaries should have ended up in Dark Ages Scotland.
And, in fact, we have records of holy men dressed only in a coarse wrap preaching Ahemsa ~ total non violence and forgiveness ~ we even have the sermons delivered by some of them.
Without them the early Dark Age would have been particularly brutal and not just nasty.
