It has not been done before. The general wisdom is that you don't attack people who buy ink by the barrel. This "general wisdom" no longer obtains, for it is no longer "general" nor "wise." The media is a biased as it's going to be, and things will only get worse through November. Despite the rise of the New Media, the MSM is still having a massive influence on coloring coverage of this election. And they have to be stopped now - they have to become the story. Consider...

However, among voters who are only watching the nightly news coverage of the RNC, 72% had a less favorable impression. It should be noted that the poll was conducted before Paul Ryan's acceptance speech last night, so these results should be considered preliminary. That said, the difference between those who watched the convention and those who simply watched the news of the convention is striking.

Our society is dividing. The far left fringe listens to the MSNBC/CBS/ABC/PBS/NPR echo chamber, where they only hear how wonderful leftism must be. Decent, patriotic Americans listen to Fox and read sites like FR. The two sides start any discussion from different basic facts and completely incompatible values. I suspect the next few years will not be pretty.

The only way out, as I see it, is for some of the true conservative jillionaires to band together and purchase a few of the major lamestream media outlets. Absent that, the media will continue to abuse the First Amendment and pump out their biased, collectivist vitriol.

Republican Administration:-Unemployment LEAPS fom 5.0% to 5.4%- “The worst economy since the Hoover administration”—under Dems: “10% is just the New Normal”—— “Unemployment allows for more Family Time.”

A good start would be telling the SRM that our candidates will not show up for these Obama butt-kissing, dog and pony show debates if they are moderated by members of the enemydia! Have either neutral, fully approved by both sides moderators, or moderators from both sides. ie Rush, Mark Levin and whoever the SRM want. Otherwise tell them they will have either dead air, or live TV of Obozo playing with himself!! The media are our enemy and want to damage R&R. They do it every day. Why give them the chance to do it right to the candidate’s faces! Don’t let them set the agenda and control the message!!!!

Boycott every advertiser on the MSM news programs. And I mean a project in which family/conservative groups PLEDGE to never purchase another product from the offending advertisers again. Never. This is a life long irrevocable pledge.
If enough of us do that then we drain their cash flow enough to matter.
Here’s an idea. Dress up like ass-holes and demonstrate in front of the New York Times building.
agree, send mail to their sponsors, tell them that they are not telling the truth to their viewers and we should not clock onto their channels again as it adds viewing figures for them.

They question whether the convention should even be happening with hurricane Isaac hitting New Orleans. Do you think they will question the wisdom of holding the DNC while thousands are homeless or without power in the storm's aftermath next week?
Will the "news" media skip any speeches given by minorities, or highlight them, and say that the repubs should have had more minority speakers (!). I wouldn't put it past them.
Yes, there is a war going on. It's America versus the "news" media, and when R&R are inaugurated, they better start bypassing the "news" media in favor of other forms of communication (this is the 21st century!).
You can be sure October will have an all out massive blitz by the "news" media for their boy king and it ain't gonna' be pretty!

Conservatives, after all, are the middle class. There’s only so many limousine liberals and welfare queens don’t have a lot of discretionary income.
My husband and I, after saving for a while, are going to make a big purchase of a new memory foam bed. I really wanted the sleep number version, but I’m writing them a letter to tell them that sorry, I really wanted to buy their bed, but because they kow-towed to leftists I’ll be purchasing from a competitor.
If we really could implement this the entire media outlook would change in a hurry. I’m tellin’ ‘ya - we are the consumers.

My wife and I do the same and if everyone on here, other conservative sites and those who listen to talk radio ten we would have an impact.
We are the majority but sadly the silent majority and we need to be vocal, whether it is the homosexual agenda or homosexuals on nearly every program today to those companies wich support lefty groups.

I called and left a message about my experience with MSNBC during this convention...(switching back and forth between c-span and this spew-hating network)....and I was totally astonished by their comments and trashing of everyone except their God obama. It’s bad enough that Fox has blowhard beckel and wacko juan....but these MSNBC talking heads are certifiably insane....they need help. What will they do when Romney wins the White House?
