I was blown away by Mitt Romney’s speech.

He meant and believed every word of it.

I could see it in his eyes.

I was just utterly blown away.

We saw different speeches then, he was soooooooooooo boring.
I thought he was going to award a metal to Obama for trying.
I re-read the transcript to make sure I knew what he was saying, even reading it was boring.

One of the problems that the left has cooking against them is that their attempted demonization of Mitt and Paul is just wrong.

They are obviously fundamentally decent men. Which is not something which may be said of anyone on the left.

“I think I'll bet on Mitt Romney”

I wont. Obama is a incompetent liberal Romney is a competent liberal. I bet the competent one will do far more damage than the incompetent one.

One of the biggest fears I have of a Romney presidency is the Supreme Court. If he is elected he will appoint liberals to replace Scalia and Kennedy who will almost surely retire during a 4 or 8 year Romney administration. They would never retire during an Obama administration. Remember Clinton appointed NO SC Justices during his second term.

Romney's liberal SC Justices will change the balance of the Court for 40 years into the future. Obama at most will replace Ginsburg with a liberal and will not change the court.

I'd rather live with four more years of Obama than have my kids live with 40 years of a liberal SC because of the liberal justices Romney will choose..

Romney just got me enthusiastic FOR him as well as AGAINST the president. What a speech. My favorite two lines from it.

“Obama wants to heal the earth.... I wanna help you and your family”

and

“Under my administration, Putin will see a lot less flexibility.... and a lot more backbone.”

This convention has been an unapologetic success, regardless of the MSM SMEAR that we have witnessed. It’s REFUSAL to even cover the speakers who deserved to be heard was deplorable, but I honestly think Obama is finished. He may be a popular face at his convention, but who else is there? The racist mayor of LA? Biden, who is viewed as an idiot? Big Chief Elizabeth Warren?

Who do you think people will connect with more. An aging patriot, Clint Eastwood, or a polished barbie doll, Eva Longoria? I think Obama was always destined to lose this reelection, and after tonight, I’m more sure than ever that we will win. Nothing less will satisfy.

Too much whiskey? Too much vodka? Maybe you were just tired. Take an Advil and get a good night’s sleep. You really screwed up...

You must have seen what you were hoping to see, is all I can say. He won me over tonight....I won’t have to grit my teeth to vote for him now.

He and Ryan are honest men.

And having the Cardinal come out and bless them might just turn a few more ‘Catholics’ against the dems.

Because, I didn't look at it through your cynical, myopic eyes.

I'm with you. Reliable sources tell me that the first SC slot that opens up, Obama is going to give Robert Bork a second chance.

This blows away any conservative persona you put on exposing your real liberal views. Thanks for coming clean.

Listen both men are treacherous, how do you not see that.
We are bolts, we are either airgun tightened or handgun tightened - either way we are screwed.

And you joined FR yesterday to be here tonight to praise your liberal man. I’ve noticed several of your type join in the past couple of days. I don’t think this is a liberal forum, yet.
