I agree and I agree. Still, I'm more confident than I've been for 4 years now.
We've been comparing O to Carter and I think Mondale is more like it.
Who's Mondale?
Exactly.
Goofy no. . .'stupid' yes. . .
Romney goes on Friday...Obama goes on Monday.....leading from behind....again.
Hey Barry, by Monday Mitt will have pumped out all the levees, rebuilt the housing and moved the folks out of the trailers and back into their homes. No need for you to bother showing up.
Hope they can get the greens dry and in shape by Monday. It would be a shame for Obama to have to three putt a lot of them.
I thought that was Han Solo.
Oh come on! Obama had the trip scheduled months in advance.
Two things about this:
1.) Romney (and Sarah) are living rent free in Obama’s head, and
2.) I bet our warriors at Fort Bliss are relieved that Obama changed his plans.
Just my two cents.
About the same time that he and his strategists came up with the idea of creating smaller crowds at his campaign stops.
Romney leads.... Obama follows. We really destroyed him with quick thinking. He looks inept!
OH HELL, add Clint to that statement....BALL AND CHAIN...”empty Chair!!”
A lot of those soldiers go to my church and I can tell you they are ticked off at the black messiah...they can’t STAND him!!
Name recognition is powerful, so is appearance and he uses his goofy court room psychology when working the crowds. But they are stupid enough to fall for it. People are generally more comfortable with the evil they know than an unknown, furthermore he can somewhat use the position and some of the assets of his office to help him get reelected. Obama has a huge symbolic advantage because he's half black, from a broken family, raised in Indonesia, urban, associated with the new England elite. All things I would run away from, but in the US these have become things that work for the candidate. Symbolism is reality for most who don't even know a candidates education, experience or track record in voting etc. They vote on a “gut feeling” and Obama maintains these high popularity levels because of the “symbolism” behind him.
Near 1/3 of all Americans have become dependent or entitled to some form of government redistributive program. Most of these see the Dems and Obama as the party of choice. Gays as many blacks do feel he delivered for them. When people say that Obama has failed, you're usually talking about those that have jobs or businesses, not the ones that saw one extension after another and are suckling on welfare or unemployment for over 102 weeks. Those that don't even need to show that they are looking for work anymore to get benefits intended to bridge one over between jobs. Gays are happy because they now have access to social security, medicare and medicaid, that's what it really has all been about, money. They can now openly serve in the armed forces and here too you have a group that is not at all unhappy with Obama’s performance. Tree huggers are generally happy with him, as are baby mamma's that are also looking for free hand outs and focus on "what's in it for me," i.e. free health care.
Obama IMHO will win, for all the wrong reasons, but nonetheless, he will win. The Republicans and conservatives feel pumped up right now, sort of like after watching a really good war movie, but that feeling fades quickly.
Another "I got a bracelet too!" moment. Bambi is so predictable.
What BS. The Obama Labor Day visit to Cleveland following a parade at Luke Easter Park (in the Black part of town) has been advertised for weeks.
This was a BIG Deal to Ohio 'rats. Having it cancelled to allow Obama to catch up with the Romney initiative is a humiliation of all Blacks in NE Ohio, not to mention idiot fellow travelers among whites.
National Secret my a&&.
He changed his plans for Monday. He was to have made a campaign stop in Ohio (I believe). The Fort Bliss event was today. And, from what I read on an earlier thread, the military who attended gave a very cool welcome.
LA, MS, and AL are states obummer cannot possibly win. Why go there
Walter Mondale was Bubba’s ambassador to Japan, where Ol’ Fritz made a Biden-level gaffe at a state dinner honoring members of the Japanese Naval Defense Force...
This is what he said....
“I understand that the new Japanese Navy has all glass-bottom boats........so they can see the old Japanese Navy.”
I kid you not, as Jack Paar used to say.
