I seriously doubt this is imminent although in the long run it is inevitable. Remember how long it took Bush to finally go to war against Iraq. Israel needs to attend to the essentials of diplomacy before initiating a pre-emptive war, especially a nuclear strike. Unless Iran does something really stupid first, of course, in which case all bets are off.

On the one hand,they're hated almost universally already and it would give Iran more time to prepare or "preempt".On the other hand,Israel can count on the (tacit) approval of the Gulf states and,at worst,Europe and the US will do nothing to hinder them,given the stark IAEA reports....
