Many people have not seen these speeches at the 2012 Republican Convention by people of color. Some were pre-empted by the networks. Indeed MSNBC blacked out all of them! Each one is short. Be encouraged. It is worth listening to and thinking about every single one! If you have been looking for something to share with your liberal friends, this is a good start. I was talking to someone more liberal recently. I told her about the numerous minority and women elected officials in the Republican party. I told her that it’s no longer unusual to see minority/women Republican office holders. I also pointed out that years ago, it was rare to see minority/women Democrat office holders as well. I told her that the GOP welcomes all. I told her that the MSNBC screed about the GOP being racist was proveably false based on who we saw at the GOP convention.

Well, she wondered about the number of minority registered voters in the GOP. I don’t think I convinced her that the GOP welcomes all.

But consider that, if the GOP is a racist bigoted party, how the heck did all of these minority/women Republican elected officials win their elections in the first place???

The fact that they didn't play the Black people's speeches is racist! They should be nailed big time, loud and clear for this!

Black people, and all other races that were pre-empted. If Fox news refused to play all the dem speeches by people of other races than the white race at their convention, they would be raked over the coals as racists.
