Michelle Obama Quotes Saul Alinsky in Campaign Speech
American Freedom by Barbara ^ | 9/4/12 | Barbara

Michelle Obama used lines from Rules for Radicals, a radical Far Left book by Saul Alinsky (“father of community organizing” and a notorious far-left radical) in her DNC Convention speech.

Gateway Pundit nailed her: What to make of Michelle Obama’s use the terms, “The world as it is” and “The world as it should be?” From whence do they originate? Try Chapter 2 of Saul Alinsky’s book, Rules for Radicals.

“Barack stood up that day,” talking about a visit to Chicago neighborhoods, “and spoke words that have stayed with me ever since. He talked about “The world as it is” and “The world as it should be…” And, “All of us driven by a simple belief that the world as it is just won’t do – that we have an obligation to fight for the world as it should be.”

“Now, if only the TV New commentators would ask the Obamas about how this quotation motivates them and their actions.”

Many of them have the same agenda.

Then how come he didn’t do what he was supposed to do and PROMISED to do over the last four years? Always blaming Bush or someone else for his own failures. He had two years where they were in total charge to get things done. What happeneed? Why didn’t they accomplish things then?
I really don’t know who these two think they are but... whatever they think they are or whomever they think they are ... they are finding out quickly they are NOT.
Grandeur. That is their bag. But... that’s the key... they think they know everything from what everyone should eat, drink, do, live, etc... THAT is THEIR MISTAKE as this country will do what it wants went it wants and how it wants for their families without any interference from government.

The left has pretty much thrown everything against Romney and the only thing that sticks is the fact that he is a rich and successful businessman. Last night was nothing more than a Valerie Jarrett production featuring Michelle Obama and the start of her political career and the DNC confirming they are now the party of Chicago radical liberals and their god is Obama. The choice is socialism or the American Dream.

If one listens closely, and then does a little research, many of the phrases used so readily by Obama and his surrogates have such origins:

For instance, does anyone remember this news story from early November 2008?

"At a Virginia rally -— 'If you’ll stand with me, then I know that we can win Virginia and we can win this election and we can finally bring the change we need to Washington,' Obama told the estimated crowd of 35,000. 'I feel like we got a righteous wind at our backs here.'”

Then, there is this quote from Chairman Mao:

“The ill wind of opportunism is falling, the righteous wind of socialism is on the rise.”

Is it any wonder that the later White House spokesman Anita Dunn declared before an audience that Mao was her "go to" philosopher?

The ideas and words of Mao, Marx and Lenin play a dominant and unhidden role in the philosophy of this Administration.

On the other hand, one hears little of the familiar words and ideas of individual liberty and limited government power expressed so eloquently by Washington, Jefferson, Adams, and Madison.

There is no world as it should be as everyone’s view of how the world should be is different.

Are there any transcripts anywhere? I would rather read drivel then listen to it.

I don’t know. I can’t bear to listen to the convention as my nerves are shot. I’ll probably be on Xanax by the time the election comes around.
