At their national convention in Charlotte, N.C., "Democrats had approved a platform on Tuesday that made no mention of God or Jerusalem," according to the AP. Even President Obama took note of these "omissions," and he, "personally intervened to order Democrats to change language in their party platform to add a mention of God and declare that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel, campaign officials said Wednesday." Despite the party's top man trying to perform damage control:
The platform changes did not sit well with some Democratic delegates gathered in Charlotte, N.C., for the party's three-day convention. Many in the audience booed after the convention chairman, Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, ruled that the amendments had been approved despite the fact that a large group of delegates had objected. He called for a vote three times before ruling. [Watch video.]
That's how extreme the Democratic Party has become, banning G#d and attacking Israel during their national convention. This behavior is what one might expect from hardcore Marxist-Leninists, not the party which produced great politicos like Harry S. Truman and Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Of course, most Democrats at the convention are extremists, completely out of touch with main street U.S.A. More than 9 in 10 Americans believe in God, while "sympathy for Israel was 61% compared to 19% for the Palestinians," as measured by Gallup in 2011 and 2012, respectively.
This pathetic behavior is another example of how far Left the Democratic Party has swung, hopefully enough to get President Obama and many Democrats thrown out of the White House and Congress in the November elections.
Of course the original omission was intentional and not an oversight.

After the chairman ramroded the amendment through, the Democrats booed and hissed! The Democrats booed God and hissed Israel on live television.
Hey, maybe poor ticket sales wasn’t the reason the Dems moved Obama’s speech from a 70,000 seat stadium to a 20,000 seat auditorium. They could be afraid of lightning.

This convention is comprised of goofy marxist clowns reaching out to idiots and weak minded fools.
But last night I nearly gagged at the tribute to Ted Kennedy who with Chris Dodd made a waitress sandwich, who killed Mary Jo Kopekne and didn't even have the decency to go to her funeral. Who paid the Catholic church gazillions to give him an annulment after 20+ years, and I could go on and on like you did. These people have no shame. This whole convention is a train wreck.
Picture Valerie Jarret and Obama last night at the White Hut screaming about the 74,000 seat stadium / yes or no, yes or no... Then about God and Israel / yes or no, yes or no.... ahhhhh the drama here. Debbie blabbermouth said it was no conflict - just an oversight. haw. You can't make this up, folks.
