Just so ya know...there were plenty of so called Democrats who "Played" themselves as "good christians"...but that was in Ohio where I had lived my entire life until last year.

Now that I'm in Georgia, I have to admit the words "Democrat" and "Good Christians" have yet to be placed together in any single person I've met yet.

.....so I think I'll have to save my retort for my next trip back to Ohio for a family visit and I run into some of these people again.

As an aside, I once saw a retired Nun in our Catholic church wearing a "Gore 2000" button. That was the year that the churches were really making a big deal about abortion in Ohio and the whole gay scandal within the church was still a fresh wound.....

I asked her how she could sell out the catholic doctrine so easily to a person from a party that believes in abortion and the gay life style. I got a very red faced look and an "Excuse me" as she walked away.... after that I never saw her wear the button to church again.

Your comments are correct but people who call themselves "Democrats" and "Good Christians" are amoung us.....sometimes in the most unlikely places.
